Unlike all the other ratings on here, I had a good experience! The guy that did my nails did a great job. All the other nail places I've been to, I got cut by the file, and here he filed my nails gently and I didn't get cut. I was actually able to relax and watch TV. I really enjoyed this place.

Could not find a nail salon in Altoona open on Monday, so I went to Nail Elegance. Smelled so bad in their of the gel nails, then the woman who did my nails, didn't push back the cuticles, didn't put lotion on my hands, put the polish on very streaky and uneven, told me to dry. I was only at the dryer for 10 minutes and she said ok your done. Charged me 20.00. Where I go in my hometown, same manicure is 10 dollars, push the cuticles back and cut them, give you a hand massage, and a neck massage. All for 20 dollars. Nail Elegance is horrible, will never go there again.

HORRIBLE place!!! Debbie did my nails. The NEXT day 5 fell off. I asked for a new set because why wouldn't the 5 that I had left fall off also? She said absolutely not. She was only going to fix the five that fell off. So I said can I get my money back so I can go somewhere else again she said NO!!!! I have never in my life had five nails fall off the next day. And any other place that I've gone to is much more accommodating than this places. I couldn't even get a design because she said she couldn't even make a star. This is just not the place you want to go. They stole my money and wouldn't give it back because I did not receive the service that I came in for. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went to Fancy nails a few miles down the road and got excellent service and beautiful nails!!! And Kim there can make a star!!! The pic is from Fancy Nails in Altoona. Great job Kim

Went to the wrong pedi place today due to distraction. I knew as soon as we sat down I should've gotten up and left but instead, stayed. The spot I usually go to, greets you, makes conversation, interacts w your child, offers a glass of wine, Avery a soda or water. I don't know if they thought because I had him w me that I was in a hurry, but what terrible service! Zero attention to the bottom of my feet, which come on now, we all know after quarantine we need a little extra Tlc!! My pedi including gel polish only took 3 minutes longer than my 4 year old sons who started AFTER ME and requires no polish. Then the gentleman at the front desk takes my card out of my hand, swipes it as quickly as I'm asking for a total. Y'all!!! Where have I EVER ! A child's toes dipped in blue water costs $25!? Are you kidding me! Then when I asked for the price of his pedicure, finally got a smile, some giggling, and "yes, usually $23 plus extra $2 for supplies) I don't write bad reviews, I don't try to complain, especially not on social media but I will NEVER be going to NAIL ELEGANCE again 2 pedicures done in less than 30 minutes and $80 later ... highly disappointed
