NAIL care and spa in Essex, MD

I really wanted to like this place because it's so close to home... but alas, I won't be back. The most important area of a nail salon for me is cleanliness and they failed miserably. I watched employees clean the pedicure bowls more than once only by squirting it with water and wiping it down with a towel. There was cleaning spray nearby, but it wasn't used. Also, I know for a fact that the large black heel files and purple pedicure stones were used repeatedly on different customers without being cleaned. Next up, was the overall experience which was also bad. Rather than relaxing music, televisions blared. In other establishments there are signs asking you not to talk on your phone. No such thing here, so I got to listen to a teenage girl have a loud and lewd FaceTime. The owner yelled at an employee. A group of teenagers carried on loudly using the f word repeatedly. The final straw for me was the fact that they used a drill to remove paint from both my toes and fingers. That is a sure fire sign that you're not in a nice nail establishment. The only positive was that their prices were low, but you get what you pay for in this case.

Hubby and I come here regularly for pedicures! The staff is great, and the deluxe pedicure is super relaxing! They even wrap your legs in hot towels, that's my favorite part!

Used to live this place. They did my nails and they didn't match at all. (Colors they chose to match glitter). When I asked about it, I was told they were closing and to come back next week after their vacation and they'd fix it. They also then charged me $40.

Always professional and courteous. The artwork you can get on your nails is more than just regular flowers, I've even gotten things like Orioles nails! They have a wide variety of services, and always polite. The place is always clean too, which is nice. The color options for nails is awesome and if you want a design they don't know they will try to do it for you!
