Service is good but it's incredibly overpriced and the gel polish doesn't stay on as long as any other salon I've been to. It's not worth it in my opinion and I've been getting my nails done regularly for 15 years.

I'm a recent transplant to the Upper East Side. The Nail Bar on Downer is walkable for me, has a great location, and the atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and clean. I would like to make this my "nail home". I have thin, sensitive nails, and Patty took her time with me and adjusted to make me comfortable.

I came to Nail Bar Milwaukee because I think several of my classmates have raved about this nail salon. I have a wedding to attend this coming weekend and decided to put Nail Bar to the test. Past night, I set my appointment for this morning. The receptionist was so kind. I'm not a big nails person so the terminology always gets lost on me. She booked me for the right service and confirmed the nail colors I needed were at the shop. I arrived roughly 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The shop was extremely clean. I came in and washed my hands and picked my colors. The receptionist took note of the specific layering that I needed for the wedding. I got the No-Chip Pedicure and Spa treatment. I got to soak my feet in warm water for roughly 15 minutes. My nails were trimmed very evenly and it was a really enjoyable experience. The nails look so natural. I would love to come here again. The price and service are very reasonable. My service was $70 and they take either cash or card.

My favorite place to get a pedicure in the Metro Milwaukee area. I've tried many- this is the best. Always timely, always done well.

No stars but had to choose one. Dont recommend going here at all. Horrible experience. We booked for manicures and pedicures. We got here 10 minutes before our appointment and had to wait a half hour because they couldn't figure out the technicians, even though I was called three times to confirm the appointment. Then the bride is told she may not have time to do her nails because we were starting late, even though we were here 10 minutes early. The technician did her nails and then informed her they couldn't do the design after the fact, which she wouldn't have gotten if she was told they couldn't do the design. She also didn't get her pedicure because the manicure that turned out horrible took 2.5 hours. Then we were charged full price. Just horrible service and scheduling. If your technicians can't do something, be honest with your customers, especially a bride who is going to have her hands photographed and now has to do damage control. Don't go here.
