Nail Art in Virginia Beach, VA

I called to see if they had any availability on a Sunday and was told to come right in. I was seen right away and since I knew I wanted gel extensions, but not much else, the owner talked me through my options and gave me beautiful nails. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to my next visit.

Dude this place is the fucking worst. Never ever again. I came in here because where i normally go was too busy. I ALWAYS routinely get gel polish painted on my nails. Nothing crazy. Just simple gel polish. She told me if i didn't pay extra for her to trim my cuticles then the gel polish wouldnt last long. Which is ridiculous i even had to pay $10 just for her to do that...most places include that in the service. I literally paid her $10 to push my cuticles back.. She also told me if i paid her the extra money it would last 2-3 weeks...so i paid her for that!Well, 3 days later the gel polish chipped off of 3 of my nails the way normal nail non gel polish would do. I paid all that money just for it to come off after 3 days? The whole reason i got gel is because its supposed to last long....2-3 weeks supposedly not 3 days. So i come back 3 days later asking for the nails to be fixed and she's arguing with me telling me it's because i didn't get acrylic??? Umm..i NEVER get acrylic..ANYWHERE EVER. I ALWAYS get just normal gel polish and it always lasts LONGER THAN 3 DAYS. Who wants to pay $35 to have the nail polish come off after 3 damn days...Their gel polish they use is poor quality and doesn't fucking last 72 hours. It isn't very shiny, it isn't hard and durable. It feels and looks like normal ass nail polish. Not gel. Oh and it lasts just about as long. Don't waste your time or money at this dingy ass nail salon. Go see Heidi at regal nails or Nancy at the laskin rd anthony Vince.

I freaking love this place. My first time here, I called ahead of time to make sure they would be able to do the Ombré nails I asked for, and surely enough they were. Came in and was greeted by the staff. I showed the lady the picture of how i wanted it to look and she did exactly what I asked for but even better! She took her time with it and the guy who filed my nails took his time as well making sure each nail was even and not thick. The fact they took their time, didn't even care that they were closing soon and still made sure I walked out satisfied by their service. Definitely makes me want to go back there again!

The reason for this review is to notify all potential customers that this nail salon doesn't use prepackaged sanitized pedicure tools. I used this place because of all the positive reviews. I don't get mani/pedis often, but any other time I have ever gotten one was at a salon when the nail tech used a freshly sanitized, unopened package of nail clippers, trimmers and other tools. I have even been to places where they keep all the tools they use in a blue sanitizing solution. Not this place....they just took the tools out of a plastic container at the workstation and when I asked why they don't keep things in unopened sanitized packages they said that after each use the tech sanitizes the tools used. They also assured me that they have a lot of repeat customers and no one had ever gotten an infection before. After my toes were done, I watched the tech spray the clippers and few other tools and wipe them with Kleenex and put them back in the same plastic container the tools were resting in while she was using them on my feet. Absolutely not sanitary and very disgusting. The nail file and smoothing block weren't wiped or cleaned at all. I didn't see them clean the soaking tub after I left my seat. I gave this place a 2nd star only because the tech was very nice, friendly and kept conversation. I won't be back to this place and I hope you think twice about going here after reading this.
