N 1 Nail Salon in Wilson, NC

This place is a serious joke! Almost everyone in here is rude. And if you are of the "darker" persuation don't exspect any respect at all. There prices don't add up to the janky work they do. And I'm convinced that they talk about you in their language. Don't ask any questions because that is a no, no in there. And get this you are NOT allowed to get a regular French Manicure. What???What nail salon have you ever went to that doesn't allow you to get a regular french many or pedi done. ha This place is horendous! It's more like #0 Salon. If you go here, I PROMISE that you will waste your hard earned money.

I went into the salon last night to get gel pedicure, dip manicure with tips and brow waxing. Upon my arrival I was asked what I wanted so I told them, she continued to talk into the register, but she was talking to me who knew? So I attempted to select colors, however no one directed me to the area in which I needed to make selections for the gel/dip. Then I idly stood there so I would know where to sit- finally someone said sit in chair 8. She got me all set for the pedicure- she didn't ask what type of pedicure I wanted she just began so I assume I was just getting a basic pedicure with gel polish . Once she began sanding away the current gel polish- I asked her if she had the soft protective cover that goes in the end of the sander to protect my nail bed. She ignored me then she looked at me like she was annoyed saying I'm taking this off for you... I can see that, but do you have that as I don't want thin toe nails. She immediately threw her temper tantrum irritated that I asked a question grabbed all of her stuff and went and started work on someone else. Myself and another patron looked at each other and said I guess she is mad that you asked her that. I got up and attempted to speak to the other workers in there and was informed they don't speak English. I told them if they treasure their business I would have a discussion with her about her attitude when patrons ask questions and they may want to get some workers that actually do speak English! I will never return to that shop again and I would not recommend to anyone. There is a price list up, but I have no idea if it's current or accurate as I left and went to another salon and spent my $125. There is a shared parking lot for parking. Stay away- never go there!! Wilson has several nail shops- take your chances elsewhere!!

What in the BASIC Wilson chick foolery is THIS!? I've been back 3 years now in Wilson & for the life of me I don't understand WHY Blacks keep spending money with these nail salons who don't even make eye contact with us but thrive on our money & get ahead . Today was my LAST time going here. Been coming for a while now & the guy (Vincent he calls himself yet no license has Vincent on the wall ) in the 1st chair to the left as you walk in is the RUDEST tech I've ever experienced. Now everyone who knows me, knows that money isn't a issue when it comes to my nails. I'm used to paying anywhere from $75-$150 or better for my nails but if I spend that much I can guarantee they don't look BASIC at all. My tech in Greensboro people would stop me to ask me about my nails . No one will stop me with these granny nails! First of all wth is up with the fall leaves  just because it's fall . This your freestyle? Boy bye. Already he behaves like a DIVA & makes people wait 20-30 minutes AFTER the salon opens & the rest of the staff is already at their stations working. He acts as if he's a celebrity nail artist ! Making you wait. Then I witnessed him yell at another customer that wasn't even his & then talk about her in his language. My charge today for $40 nails??? $85 ! Mind you "they don't do long nails" and that's some Wilson country mess (the ONLY city I've been told this) , yet he said the $10 extra was for ombré and long nails ). I'm supporting my own from now on so if you know a Black nail tech send her Coach K way because I will NO longer spend my money with a community that can care less I am not satisfied with a service. I'll be getting these redone ASAP. They won't last until a fill in because I'm legit embarrassed by this GARBAGE. Do NOT go here!!!

They suck!  The owners have a very nasty attitude and get very arrogant because you ask questions about cost, different services or tell them how you want what you are paying for.  If it wasn't for us spending our money they wouldn't be in business!  Went there and the owner did my nails.  He was rough and ended up making a sm hole filing so rough on the side of my nails that ended up bleeding on 1 finger.  Spent almost a 100.00 on getting new set of gel nails, art wk, pedicure, plus tip.  Worse pedicure ever!  Never going back!

This was my first time  going there to get my lashes done I asked them how much it cost upon walking  in and the lady  told me 30 dollars  after they finished she changed the price to 35 dollars  telling me  the technician  had them to full so the price  changed  I didn't  appreciate that       and  will not be going back that was not my fault   that was poor service to  charge me a different  price
