Moxie Salon + Spa in Omaha, NE

If you were to look the word rude up in a thesaurus Moxie would be one of the synonyms. From the trashy parking lot to the inappropriate dress and language of the staff. Total chaos. If this is their idea of a peaceful spa experience I would hate to see what their home life is like.

Most amazing place for hair, only because I followed my fave hairstylist Grace! If you want anything, I mean anything, done to your hair you have to go see Grace! She is absolutely amazing at her job and she is a great person

I love love love my hair stylist Hailey. I followed her from the last salon she worked at. I like how bright and open the salon is. Everyone is so welcoming and I love the products that they use on our hair!

I wasn't really impressed with this place. I came here a few days ago for a haircut and a color, from the moment I sat down, while the stylist was nice enough, she interjected into how I wanted my hair done. I wanted an undercut on one side and she tried to talk me out of it despite knowing what I want. Eventually I yielded because I don't like arguing or confrontation even in a friendly setting, i got an undercut but it wasn't as far back as I wanted. They talked me out or getting the colors I wanted that I think would have gone well together, and even the colors they picked just didn't set well in my hair. My hair started out blond, with some faded red from a previous dye job. I wanted blue and green, blended in the middle with teal. The blue didn't take the first time, so I had to come in again. The blue didn't really take the second time either. There's still tiny parts of my hair that remained blond near the roots. We tried to supplement with purple. In the end my hair looked like it was base black, with teal, yellowish green, grey, and purple. It isn't what what I wanted but I could have accepted it had they not been so pushy about changing what I wanted. I don't think I'll return, I've gotten more vibrant color from the student Salon.

Wanted to love this salon because the location is ideal and heard good things! Everyone seemed very pleasant, but my stylist left me with a choppy hair cut, uneven (looks like a chunk was cut out by mistake) way more blonde then I asked for and an over $200 bill. She didn't care at all, never asked one question about me and if she talked it was about herself the entire time. When I told her it was too choppy I was told my hair was too thick! She took less than 10 minutes to cut my hair and watched as she haphazardly cut it in pieces quickly without trying to properly layer. Other stylists there were very pleasant with their clients as I overheard them chatting. Perhaps it was a bad stylist pick, but after this its not worth a second pass.
