Moxie Hair Salon and Spa in San Antonio, TX

I moved back to San Antonio from Kerrville. I kept driving up to Kerrville as I was afraid for anyone to touch my hair. I thought this is crazy, I've got to find someone here. I called several salons that didn't seem to care. Moxie was on my list. I called Moxie and they were so cool, down to earth and helpful. The day came for my appointment and I took a photo which always helps a stylist. Rebecca(sorry if spelled wrong) was my stylist. She looked at the photo then looked at my hair. She awesome! She's super duper cool and a genesis with color and scissors. My hair looked just like my photo. I wanted an ashy (mushroom) brown and some balayage throughout. She did the perfect amount and everything came together perfectly! I was so happy! I was tired of the standard highlights all over. She explained the difference and helped me choose. Perfect, just perfect is all I can say! First time I was able to do my hair exactly like styled after showers. Everyone seemed nice there too! I'm sticking with the hair magician I found! Don't hesitate ladies and gentlemen, they do it all at Moxie. The decor is relaxing and so cool too! It was so relaxing for me! Their prices are extremely comparable to what I was paying. It's NOT highway robbery either! I can hardly wait till my next appointment which I'll be making very soon!

Moxie Hair Salon has to be one of the best AND most magical salons around far & wide, honestly. I've never seen a more beautifully decorated salon in my life. The owner, Madi, is an amazing acrylic & resin artist, and she has put her talents all over the walls and furniture with unique paint jobs. Although she herself recently retired from doing hair, there's many amazing stylists there who do a great job. I've tried several. It's not just a nice hair experience, it's like an art museum experience! Everyone has always been so friendly; they all seem to work well together and get along. Always good vibes when I've gone in there! I'm grateful & blessed to have found this place & been a customer for about 4 years now. Enjoy my photos I took! Very friendly staff from appointment setting all the way to the end of your services. It was a great experience. The stylist really goes out of their way to make sure you are happy with your hair. The vibe in the salon is amazingly zen. I love it.

I've never gone back to a stylist but this place makes me want to go back. I was impressed with the atmosphere and decided to choose this place regardless of the 20 min drive which was definitely worth it. I was seen by Isabel and this was the first stylist to cut my hair and leave me speechless. She initially took the time to exactly figure out what I wanted out of my haircut, helped answer all my questions. Very pleased with my hair cut.
