I called and left multiple messages to arrange for bridal hair and makeup for my upcoming wedding. I never received any follow up calls. A friend of the owner actually referred me to this facility to use so it was very unprofessional they never returned my calls.

I was looking for an alternative to the generic butcher shops for men in Morehead city......found this place online, and booked an appt for 5PM with Shawn for the following day.  I was called 2 hours prior and told that she was running 15 minutes late.....great I thought....what other place notifies you, I was impressed.  I showed up at 5:05 for my 5:15 appt. and was told it would be another 45 minutes......

This raises two questions.....

1. if they would cal me for 15 minutes, why wouldn't they for 45?

2.  What good is making an appt if they can see you a total of an hour AFTER your original scheduled time.

I was a first time customer treated like crap by this place, and I'm going back to great clips.....where even if the cut isn't that great, I can be in and out faster and treated better.

Melissa, my hairstylist and colorist is wonderful. She does a fantastic job & I would highly recommend her. Hannah who works the front desk is also fabulous. She is very conscientious & does a great job. I give them both 5 stars.
However, the salon does not keep products in stock and you usually have to order them. Hannah ordered shampoo for me and it came in on July 28th. Because of work obligations and out of town travel, I was not able to pick it up until Monday, August 3rd. The salon was closed. I went by on August 4th, and the owner's husband, Jason had sold my shampoo to one of his wife's clients. I ordered again on August 4th and prepaid $40 and some change for the shampoo & on August 7th, it had not come in. He tried to tell me they had held it for me for two weeks before selling it & I told him that was not true. I still have Hannah's voicemail from the 28th. He was a jerk. Unfortunately, he often works the front desk. I do not get good vibes from him. I also let him know that I found the same size & name brand shampoo on E-Bay for $29 plus free shipping. Guess I will order from there from now on. It pays to provide excellent customer service. The customer is ALWAYS right.

Chelsea did a great job with my Keratin Treatment. It was a long day for the both of us (7hrs!) but it  didn't drag.  She knew what she needed to do and would go down her checklist to make sure she didn't skip anything. This is a pricey hair treatment so she was also double checking her steps. She even gave me a list to remind me I couldn't wash my hair for 48hr and couldn't put up my hair for 72hr (that's going to tough). I had been advised about Keratin treatment at another salon because they help with frizz and humidity.  I have thick hair and wish I had known about these a long time ago.  I was warned the day before that it was going to be a long day and was given a price estimate.  It turned out to be less thank goodness.  Thanks again Chelsea!

Finally a stylist who listens and does what I want! Jackie listened to what I wanted and gave some great advice. I was worried I wouldn't find a stylist nearby but as long as I'm around this area, this will be my go-to salon.
