I asked the a molded style below; I asked if the product being used was gel Monique replied: "She would not call it a gel" . I made sure my hair didn't get wet as directed however in 16 hours I had pink crust in my hair. - I reluctantly consented to the wet wave look even though it's not what I wanted because after "bumping" it with small flat iron it looked awful and it was suggested as an alternative look. First pic is what I asked for (as close as possible) last pic is what I got. Stylist with the faux locks/shaved head I WOULD recommend she understood that I should be put under the dryer but no one listened to her. She also told me upfront she could not do the style I wanted I respect that.

I had the BEST experience at this salon! I was wowed from my initial phone call to the decor when I walked into the salon and the hospitality from the owner while I was there. Shadeeq did my hair and I got several compliments from strangers the entire day. She was friendly but also professional and I trusted her completely with my hair. I'll definitely return to this salon.

First time getting my locs done here and shadeeque is great. It's not many people in Jersey City that truly know love maintenance.
