I'm not really a girly girly meaning I can't do my own hair lol. Thank God I meet Mary Lou as she's a life saver. Although I initially started to go to her for haircuts, keratin treatments, makeup, eyelashes and any and all special occasion hair needs over the years she has become a good friend. Not only is beautiful on the inside and out but she's super talented at what she does. Being truly passionate about what you do for a living makes a world of difference in the quality you provide your clients. Even on my wedding day Marylou came to my house and took care of the entire bridal party and myself all on her own and the day turned out perfect. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a salon experience unlike any other you have ever experienced :) she's the best!
I went into see Mary Lou for the first time to get a "lob" (long bob) haircut. My hair for the better part of the last 15 years has been long and layered, but I was ready to try something new. After reading her Yelp reviews I decided to give Mary Lou a try and I'm so glad that I did!!! Not only is she the sweetest - so fun to talk to and easygoing - but she gave me a beautiful new style. I've been nervous about cutting my hair short bc my thick, coarse hair is difficult to cut but Mary Lou did a wonderful job. She's detail oriented and dedicated to making sure her clients are 100% satisfied. I cut about 6 inches off, from almost to my elbows to collarbone length and both the length and texture are beautiful. She really listened to what I wanted and talked me through the entire way to make sure I was comfortable. It's never easy to drastically change your hair style but I can't recommend her highly enough, I'm so happy with my new look. My lob is fresh, youthful and sophisticated - thank you, Mary Lou!!
