I had my 5th service at MJ Nails and I highly recommend this salon! It is a busy location so I suggest making an appointment. I've been getting hybrid gel for 3 months and it has been a great product for my nails.
When I made my first appointment in November, I asked the receptionist for a nail technician who could be gentle because my nails were so brittle at the time. I wish I had a photo of my nails from before so you could see the difference because my nail beds were so sensitive and bruised. They recommended Jessica for me. Jessica is very kind and gentle. She recommended hybrid gel and said it would bring my nails back to life. She was correct because my nails are flourishing!
I had all my appointments with Jessica until yesterday. Somehow my appointment was mixed up in their system so I had to go to the first nail tech available. I was apprehensive and disappointed but they paired me with Sydney and she was just as good! I appreciate this place so much because I've had my share of horrible nail experiences (see my past reviews for another nail salon ). MJ Nails is a clean salon with great nail techs! I've only had the hybrid gel and pedicure services so far. I will try other services soon. However, I 100% recommend their hybrid gel nail service - see my photos for proof! make your appointment now!

This is my second time here and my experiences are fantastic!
Had my lashes done for the first time. Didn't get an explanation for the process even after mentioning I've never had lashes before. Just rushed to start and then at the end no instructions for care. Disappointed in the lack of interest. I didn't even see her clean her hands. The lashes look mostly decent at the moment, but look like they will last maybe a week before needing to be replaced or filled. The lashes are not really even on both sides. When asked why there wasn't any lashes on the outer corner she just said it wouldn't look good but I feel like it would have achieved a better look. It's also odd that some lashes are glued part way up my lash unlike the inner lashes which are at the root? Maybe I just don't know since I am new to this. The other lash tech who was helping someone else in the room seemed nicer and I can hear her explaining and talking with the customer. This experience makes me not want to continue with lashes.
I made an appointment and sadly what happened was a walk in came in and they gave the attention to the walk in. The walk in had two girls working on her and she was out an entire hour before I left. And me and the walk in had the same services. My nails weren't clean or prepped properly and I felt like I wasn't given the attention I deserved as someone that made an appointment. My pinky has a spec of glitter, while my middle finger has a spec of black. And I pointed it out while I was there to be fixed but she blamed my nail turned black and that I should have gotten powder acrylic instead of fixing it.
