Miss Nails in Jamestown, NC

I am feeling a slow burn here since last night. My nail beds  are red and raw, my cuticles are stinging. I am thinking I am an idiot for letting this nail technician continue and didn't pull away. This woman cut my cuticles deeply and then proceeded with her nails to dig and peel dry skin off me. I have never had such a painful nail experience. To top it off, I asked for SNS milky (off shiny white). What i got was a muted purple. They have also raised their price. All this cost me 50.00 plus tip.
My conclusion is, I need a backbone and will pull my hands back if I don't like what is happening. Darn it and ouchie.

I just moved to the area about two months ago and found this cute cozy spot when I went grocery shopping at the Lowe's next door. Anyway, I am OBSESSED with the way they took their time, def will be back!!

I have found a warm, positive experience going here for pedi and manicures.  It's a busy shop so an appointment is recommended.  I like to go with my husband or daughter.  Since I am disabled, Tuoy helps me with special tender care and does a beautiful job.  I hope they will be able to open soon.  I'll be happy to go back to Miss Nails!

Trying this location on a whim was a BIG MISTAKE. Let me tell you our experience.  My husband recieved a mani pedi and was not asked his preferences on water temperature or clear polish.She made his figure bleed and when we left, he complained about two hang nails that he felt. As for me and my technician... I selected SNS service. The polish was all over my nails, the dip powder wasnt close to the nail bed, nor was the powder even on my fingers. She attempted to fix her obvious mistakes by sanding them down and plucking my cuticles. OMG people... I was close to the point of bleeding with all of her attempts. Instead of listening to me, she kept saying... I know... I know. If you are aware of what I am about to say, why are you yelling at me to defend yourself. Ugh this place was TERRIBLE  and I promise you I will not go back there. I will stick with Posh down the street!

Came back again because my daughter wanted her nails done and my normal salon isn't open on Sundays. I have heard about nail fungus from salons that don't clean properly, but was fortunate to never have one. Well, what I thought was a bruise on one nail has continued growing for weeks. Yesterday, it felt like my nail was coming apart-NO BRUISE. Just dead black nail. I know-GROSS. I hardly have any nail left and not even sure what to do with what is leftover. I will spare the pics. I had a bad experience before and this one is the worst.
