Kent is The worst hair stylist i have ever met. I don't want to get a bang， he insisted to give me a bang. I told him that i want to curl my hair in a few months, he said you will look old if you curl your hair! Excuse me? He gives me the most ugly bang and he knows what is ugly and what is not?

Disclaimer: I had very good experience with William, who cut and styled my hair. He was meticulous and intentional about cutting my hair. He spent time checking my preference, and made recommendations based on my hair type. He's also very knowledgeable about hair care. He even covered for his coworker Kent's poor customer service. My overall experience with William is worth 5-star. However, I had to subtract 2 stars because of Kent.

I called in and made reservation with Kent one week in advance, after reading so many good reviews about him. During the call he sounded really indifferent and didn't even take my name or number because (he said) he was busy. He told me just to come 11am on Sat. I came on time, the place was not even open. William was the first to show up and told me I should call Kent's cell phone. So I called, and he finally came around 11:30. I was getting hair washed and Kent walked to me and asked me to wait another 15 mins, because his other appointment was already here and he wanted to start with that customer first. He told me if I didn't wanna wait just pick someone else. I was pissed. I wasted 30 mins waiting for him and that's not enough. So I asked William to do my hair cut and I was glad I did.

Verdict: We all know how appointments should work like. Avoid Kent and schedule William.

This review is past due. I've been getting my hair cut by William for years. He is a very outgoing and honest hairstylist with many years Of experience. I have recommended my friends to him and they always leave happy and satisfied. I always explain to William what hairstyle I want to do and he gives me an honest opinion and provides suggestions! I've never left disappointed, he has also colored hair for both my sisters, and they love their ash blonde and ash grey! My hair is very thin and William was able to make my hair look healthy and thick. He speaks mainly Chinese but his English is pretty good as well, highly recommend! Prices are reasonable.

P.S. if you tell him to only cut 2 inches, he will only cut 2 inches lol.. I'm sure many of you have had that experience where you ask the person to take off 2 inches and they cut 5.

A long overdue review but wanted to thank Kent and his assistant for being the absolute best at dying and cutting hair. Kent is a perfectionist and makes sure you are happy with the end result. He takes his time so no matter what you will look fantastic walking out of the salon. I can't recommend him and the rest of the guys there enough. My pictures are of two different dye & cut sessions where they call it "milk tea color".... so cute! I've been to quite a few "top" salons and this place hands down tops them all... never trusting any other place from now on. Before coming here I wouldn't go back to the same salon for a year or so but this salon is so good I went in for a touch up after 2-3 months.. and that says a lot considering how lazy I get haha! Anyway get your cut & dye here you won't regret it I promise!!!!

My hair really challenged Kent because it was blue, but I asked Kent to make it pink. Changing from a darker color to a lighter color is hard, but he really made this magic happened! Now my hair is better than just pink, it's a gradual overlay. From the top to bottom, the color gradually change as darker as a pinkish purple, and the change is smooth and pretty! It looks like a unicorn color! Totally beyond my expectation! Kent is an expert for hair dye, the way he mixes colors is better than any other barbers! Highly recommend Kent!
