Thank you Sage for fixing my hot mess hair. I tried to color my hair myself and it was a disaster. Sage came to the rescue and fixed both the color and cut. I will return to her for root touch ups. She's so nice and talented. Thank you Sage!

This salon is BEAUTIFUL!! I loved sitting on the comfy couch and seeing the Palo santo and sage on display. All of the staff is incredibly skilled. I just love Tanellya! I had taken it into my hands to be a hairstylist and try to do baby lights. No wise lol. I came in and Tanellya worked magic...like turning water into wine and had me in love with my locks! I'm so happy to have found my new salon and hairdresser. Xoxo

I brought my 13 yo daughter to Sage for a cut on her super curly super thick hair. My daughter, who is ASD, really struggles with her hair but her curls are gorgeous. She really wanted an undercut to take some of the weight off her esp with summer coming. I let Sage know ahead of time what we were thinking and explained my daughter was on the spectrum (high functioning but socially different). Sage was extremely kind, considerate, and caring, immediately putting my daughter at ease. She explained everything she was doing and even asked "can I touch your hair" before starting. She did an undercut and gave her great layers. Her hair looks absolutely gorgeous and she was glowing; rarely does she feel beautiful but today was one of those days. As soon as Sage finished and put all her hair down, my daughters eyes lit up as she exclaimed "It's so much lighter!" Thank goodness we found Sage! I will be using her for my hair and bringing the other two kids to her as well!

Do not book with Sage Manase. I booked an appt for my 10 year old (she's had her hair dyed twice before so it's not like we had no clue that it's so where around $200-$300 and takes 3 hours). Apparently Sage says i booked the wrong process - I booked the $225 bleach and tone and it should have been the $250 appt ACCORDING TO THEIR WEBSITE for this stylist. Go look for yourself. I asked specifically how long it was going to be at the beginning and Sage was evasive and said "I don't know", like an experienced stylist should have some idea. I assumed it would be the standard 2.5 to 3 hours. We were sitting around with dry hair while Sage worked on DOUBLE booked appts. But almost SEVEN HOURS later, I was told my 10 year old's blue hair is $505!!! Terrible communication. You'd think if the excuse was I booked the wrong service and it was MORE THAN DOUBLE THE PRICE, there'd be some communication. ANY communication about time or price. NONE. Save the excuses - just GO ELSEWHERE. UPDATE: Sage adjusted price to reflect originally booked service as noted below.

I had a great experience with Manase at their shop Meis Salon. I have been growing my hair out for 2 years during the pandemic for locks of love. This salon does support locks of love which is amazing! On to the quality of the cut. I have had my own stylist for 20 years. I am from the east coast. I have never found someone I liked to cut my hair on the west coast. This was the best hair cut I have gotten during my 6 years in california. I am going to donate my hair again, but when it's long enough I know where I'll be going!!
