I was looking for a trim before leaving town. I got in with Sandra last minute I explained just a trim. First of all I waited for her to start at least 30 minutes. Once we got started it was the longest trim of my life. Also how did I end up leaving with bangs. She asked if I wanted to curl it I said no I wear it straight. Well she curled it which only hid the fact it was uneven. One side of my hair was longer than the other side. Ugh also she charged me $95 dollars I paid since I just wanted to get out of there. Not sure about the other ladies in the salon but Sandra might need to hang up her scissors.
I believe it's just called "Salon Collective" now. This place is my first experience ever at a hair salon, so keep that in mind when reading this review. I thought the prices were pretty high but considering I only plan to come in every couple months I figure it's worth pampering myself! It can get a little crazy at times, but these ladies are thoughtful and caring! Always offer a complimentary beverage (coffee, sodas, water), and free touch ups within two weeks of service. Above all, they get the job done. Turned my ideas into reality, give me EXACTLY what I ask for every time. I've gone in for cuts, and all over color and I'm very happy with my hair! I also really like the decor inside, it's clean, bright, and beautiful.
I had a 2:45 appointment today with Sandra, she calls me at 2:35 to say she's running behind and asked if it would be okay if I can come at 3:30. I show up at 3:30 and she had already LEFT for the day without so much as calling me. Another girl offered to cut my hair but I asked if she'd do the "$35 express cut" that Sandra offered under her online profile, all I wanted was a 2" trim all the way around. She text Sandra to see what the "express cut" entails to which Sandra replies "I've been meaning to change that, that's only for bang trim", which is weird considering when I booked online, it booked me for a 45 minute time slot. Not sure why she'd need 45 minutes to cut someone's bangs. Needless to say, I left and will not be returning and save yourself some time and don't book with Sandra.
Sandra is amazing! I had my haircut the first time and came back to do color. She is fun to talk, energetic, and I can tell she loves what she does! She has many years of experience and knows a lot about beauty! Thank you for your amazing work Sandra :D
