Meagan does a great job on my natural hair. I don't let many people blow dry my hair but Meagan is so gentle, pays attention to the condition of my hair and gives me a bomb trim. Very pleased and will continue to seek her services.

True Souls of Gold are busy at work here. The environment is extremely comforting and they always take great care of you. Lawanna took me in as a walk in and she listened to the needs of my very sensitive scalp from day one. Her hands are like little gentle massages and her shampoo and deep conditioning treatments will blow your mind. Lawanna's curls are made with love and I adore how her and Meagan love to try the best of the best products on us based on need. Meagan has taken my son's curly mohawk to a whole new level with added color and expertise conditioning, and there have even been times when I could not stay and I am never worried about him being there alone. They treat you like family at this salon and it is not often that mother and son can spend the day at the hair dresser getting their "hair did". Meagan Mitchell Salon is truly a 5 star place. The hair care knowledge that they share is appreciated and the products on hand for purchase is a plus. I enjoy each and every visit and I plan to be a client for life. Thank you.

I give this salon one stars simply because of the people and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the salon has a very unique design. However, the stylist Alex has bad time management and lack professionalism. I arrived at the salon around 6 in the evening and didn't leave until 1:30 in the morning. (For Twist Strand Twist on Natural Hair- No Extension. And A Color a Touch Up) I walked away extremely upset and disappointed. The style was nothing like the picture I sent to the stylist beforehand. The pricing was extremely high and the stylist did nothing to accommodate for the extreme inconvenience. On top of everything, I still had to spend an additional hour and half to style my hair myself to achieve the style I wanted. The salon has a friendly staff and truly made me feel comfortable. But there's nothing to make up for this horrible experience. I will not be returning.

I completely disagree with the previous reviewer. I have very long and thick hair and Meagan always gets me out in less than 3 hours which is a miracle compared to the other stylists I have been to over the years. I have been a client of hers for 4 years and love her salon atmosphere and my hair always looks GREAT!

I met the owner of this salon at a women's expo last year. She was informative and kind. She offered me some great advice and when I asked her about her salon and if she had a business card, without pressure, she said call anytime! We'll be happy to see you! When I finally called, I actually had an event to attend last minute. I didn't think they'd be able to see me so quickly but thought I would try. Well, without delay, the owner actually said she would fit me in! Little did I know that her work load had doubled as she was also servicing the client's of another stylist who was out on medical leave. Now that is team work! Her salon was busy! Though, she was full of smiles as were all of the other clients! There was some wait time, but I didn't mind as I understood the demand to be in the salon and in Meagan's chair! I loved my hair!!! The price was right and I felt great! A big thank you to Meagan and staff!!! I will be back :)
