MCM Elegant Hotel in Odessa, TX

The staff is very pleasant. Fast van ride from the Midland airport. Midwest personalities. Warm and friendly. Ambiance is very 70's lots of wood. Very quiet. I got the impression I was the only one here. Starbucks Espresso in the spa. Not avail till 7:30 am I got some the night before. Room fridge kept it fresh till the am. Spa....haircuts and massages. 16 yrs massage experience. ( I didn't get one ) Very tempting. Very emotionally engaging employees. Very much down to earth and my style. But based on how hot the rooms were.... The ancient. Loud Air conditioners set at 60 degrees. So as to run all the time. Couldn't keep up with the heat. Room hot. Hard to sleep.

We were in town for medical purposes. Called for room service. Almost everything we ordered they were out of. Tried to get a cocktail in the restaurant at 9PM. Was told no, that the bar was closed. However...... For significantly increased price was able to order drink through room service! We went to the front desk to inquire as to why this was. Stood there for almost 15 minutes. No one ever came to the desk. We will be coming to Odessa rather frequently. Will not EVER stay at this "5 Star" hotel again.

The staff was really nice but the hotel is very dated and the food is sub par... My room was very dark from the curtains, furniture and the carpet was old and dirty. However the bed was comfy. The bathroom was dated as well. I would not recommend this hotel

mcm elegante breakfast buffet is like hogs going to a slop feed its usually crowded and with "0ne" cook making egg inlets / waffles is ridiculous and slow - definitely over rated and over priced !

Very clean and up todate room. The rooms are large and very quiet so you are able to get your rest that you need. The restaurant on the property is very good and has breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
