Do not give your business Maxim Salon, 633 Park Ave. Salon set me a reminder text at 48 hours for an appointment, but charged me a cancellation fee for not calling at 72 hours for a reschedule. The same amount of the appointment $150. I've disrupted this charge because I didn't authorize it. Toni, you lost me as a client and any potential referrals.
Went to Maxim for a facial yesterday. They are running a promo of free derma planning all January! Ashley was absolutely amazing. Will definitely go back, my skin feels great!
I went in for a spa pedicure which was suppose to be an hour. The whole service lasted maybe 30 minutes. The girl who did my pedicure can't be very experienced. It was suppose to come with a massage and all I got was her barely rubbing my feet and calf area. It was not even close to being worth the money. No way I will ever go there again. I just wasted time and money on a service that I get done all the time. I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to go there.
I had the urge to chop off many inches of hair and this salon supported my decision. They had an appointment for my sudden desire to shed a few pounds of hair--and were enthusiastic in guiding me to the right length and style. I easily found street parking for a quick walk to the shop--cute and small. They have options for manicure, pedicure and spa services as well--my stylist was named Ashley and she was kind and did a great job. They were also taking walk-ins from what I could see. The price also could not be beat--definitely recommend.
Very cute place with the sweetest people working there! I took advantage of a special that they had for a cut wash, and blow dry, and I was very happy with the results! I was visiting a friend in town, but next time I go, I will definitely pay this business a visit again!
