i always choose Max Nails and i love them! i have had to go back once to fix a nail because i realized they hadn't let it fully dry, but they fixed it quick and easy. not overpriced. only downside is if it's busy, it doesn't matter if you have an appointment, they will make you wait .
Came here yesterday for a mani and pedi with a friend. Pedis turned out okay. Manicures on the other hand were a nightmare. We both opted for dip nails. The man who did my nails cut the actual hell out of my cuticles. To the point they were bleeding. When it comes to washing the nails they have 3 brushes. That are used for all the same customers. So we go, wash our bloody cuticles with a brush and stick it back into the bin for the next person to come and use Without being thoroughly sanitized. Nails turned out overly thick in the end. Friend had to redo hers twice due to bubbling on the dip polish. Overall took more than 2 hours for her to get out of there. After the male finished my nails I proceeded to pull my card out to pay. He walked away without apologizing for cutting my fingers up, and without having me pay. I had to ask somebody else to even charge me.
Horrible customer service . Had an appointment at 11 am . Waited over an hour with no help. Went up to the desk to see how long of a wait and nobody helped me at all. Place smells weird like cat piss and poop. Do NOT reccommend.
This was only my 3rd pedicure experience ever, and I am happy I came here! After a lack luster experience in Clackamas a few months ago, I wanted to try a new place. I found this nail salon and was happy with the entire appointment. From the greeting, to the hot stone pedicure, to the clean up of my fingernails. The environment was very clean and relaxing as well. I will definitely come here again and probably more regularly now that I had a good experience somewhere!
I don't know what this place was like a few years ago, but the "new management" reviews must be right. I had a wonderful mani/pedi courtesy of Lisa. I get a pretty simple single-color gel manicure & pedicure, but this one is perfection. Place was clean and smelled good. Staff were very friendly. I was a walk-in appointment they asked me to wait 15 minutes. I agreed (I hate doing the walk-in thing) but they had my dogs soaking in less than 10. THEY APPRECIATE CASH TIPS.
