Massage Envy in O'Fallon, MO

I am a widowed woman in my 60s. A specific massage therapist was recommended to me by a family member at the Winghaven location. The family member said this young lady was very talkative though, but gave a great massage.  The massage therapist's initials are JC.  I joined the Winghaven location and requested her each time.  During the massages she, in fact, was extrememely talkative.  She talked about buying a condo in Dec., and I coincidentally am a realtor and let her know I could help her if she wasn't working with a realtor.  She acted excited about that and inquired about more information.  She spoke about being single.  After the 3rd massage I thought she was a very nice young lady and that she liked me too.  I was comfortable conversing with her.  On my way out the last time I realized I know a very nice single young man she might be interested in and I only mention things of this nature when there is a comfort level and I think the person is super nice. The next month  I booked another appointment and requested her.  The day before my appointment my confirmation text came through, but it was with a different massage therapist.  I called to inquire.  The receptionist stated "JC" was off the day I was scheduled.  I suggested it would be nice to have someone actually communicate that as I didn't really want to try a different massage therapist.  I asked to speak to a manager.  I could tell she put me on speaker, I suppose so the other girls at the front could hear my conversation?  Anyway, the manager/owner got on the phone and told me that JC was not comfortable working with me.  I was SHOCKED.  It made no sense.  She was the one carrying the conversations during massages.  I asked the owner why?  She said JC wasn't comfortable with some of the topics of conversation.  SERIOUSLY?  So this gal who instigates talking excessively during a massage is suddenly uncomfortable so uncomfortable she doesn't want to do a massage for me any longer?  There is literally no logic here.  In the end the owner said, "She's young."  Look, if this woman isn't comfortable conversing she should not share so much and encourage conversation.  I would completely understand if there had been wrong doing on my part, but there was none.  I feel so embarrassed and mistreated by this action on the part of the owner and her yappy employee.

Not a great experience or message. I just did not feel at all cared about by the masseuse & I would say try else wear.

I can't remember her name but pass. The front desk ladies were sweet - hence the 2 stars but of course the selling of the membership in the beginning took some of our massage time as we were already 10 min behind schedule. Just not a good experience

I love all of my service providers they all do an amazing job and the new front desk ladies are so nice and helpful!

Extremely unhappy with the service provided. I had booked 60 min facial and they were done on 1/2 hour. When questioned the response was facials are not time based. So if they are not time based then why was I charged for whole hour. On top of that they suggested me to book another facial in 2 weeks. I am not crazy to book another appointment if I am not going get the services.
Will not recommend at all.

My wife & I subscribed to an auto renewal program of monthly massages. Thanks to the "pandemic" we weren't allowed to use our remaining 4 prepaid massages because they weren't accepting clients. Once the pandemic slowed where we could get back in, we tried to use the $200+ we prepaid and just get 1 each giving up 1/2 of what we paid. We were never called back the original phone call, transferred twice afterwards to finally be bluntly told no and laughed at. Never again will I ever do business with this fraudulent company. If I paid for it, I should be allowed to use it. Look elsewhere!
