Love this place. Friendly. Know their stuff. Plus, they are being careful to protect their customers during this pandemic. They have a routine in place that just takes a moment to make sure you are safe. They are enforcing CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health mask requirements even though some customers have been belligerent and other Wheaton businesses have been lax. Thank you Marquiz for doing your part!
WOW!!! Don't call here. The front desk who answers phone is so RUDE. She wouldn't give me her name either. I hope the owner sees this. Disappointed in potential customer call in experience.
Desiree has been doing my hair for a few years and she's amazing!! I've gotten so many different haircuts (trims, cutting my hair into a pixie, cutting multiple inches off, etc.) and am never disappointed! I've also gotten balyage and highlights/ombré done and my hair has always looked fantastic and I've received a ton of compliments! This salon is amazing, I will keep returning for as long as possible! All of the staff is so friendly and accommodating.
I've been going to Marquiz Salon for 15 years! Every experience has been wonderful since Day 1. I have very thick, wavy hair that sometimes gets frizzy. They always do a wonderful job, and my hair looks amazing every time. I noticed that if I have to skip an appointment for whatever reason, my hair just doesn't look right anymore. They keep my hair looking great even in between appointments. Sonia is my stylist. Love her. Love them all!
The people here are very nice. I went in months ago (not sure when) for a blow dry last minute. I have very curly hair that's frizzy and I never trust anyone to work on it. I was in a rush and it was a last minute decision, so I decided to go here. I was disappointed in how they blew dry my hair. I don't remember the name of the person that worked on me. She was very nice and I have no complaints at all about the place. I told them my hair gets frizzy and as she was blow drying, she'd air out the ends of my hair. So it was frizzy. I didn't like it at all. I had to ask her to completely blow dry it and get the friz out. I don't blame them, I just don't think everyone can work with curly hair. I'm sure they do a good job for easier hair to work with. I wouldn't go back, but that's just because of my hair type.
