Manely You Hair Salon in Danbury, CT

I found out about this salon through an acquaintance who was a customer.  I am nearly 50 and have had only 2 previous hair dressers because I am extremely fussy.  I also have very unruly hair, but that did not intimidate Megan.  I'm always delighted when I'm done and feel like a new woman.  I've never received more compliments on my hair.  Everyone wants to know where I have my hair done and I am very happy to send them to Manely You.

I've walked into salons in the past and felt like the new kid in the lunch room.  This was not the case here.  Megan and Nancy and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming!!  I frequently call at the last minute for an appt. and they are always very accommodating.

I cannot say enough good things about the ladies here.  Wild horses couldn't drag me away.

Let me start by saying I do not just let anyone do my hair.  I can be somewhat difficult but Jennifer is great.  I started going to her about seven years ago.  My co-worker went to Jennifer for her  hair and it was so beautiful.  I started going to her and noticed a difference right away.  I have curly hair and she cuts it just perfect.  She is a great colorist whether it is my highlights in summer to darkening it in the Fall.  They are a knowledgeable, professional salon.  I highly recommend them.

Love the people the atmosphere and especially the talented hair dressers here.  Megan has been wonderful at really helping me always figure new ways to make that change all of us go though every now again when we need something new and different.  She is great with highlights and really knows so much about hair. I highly recommend coming here.

Took my daughter here on a friends recommendation. What a mistake! They booked the appointment wrong and didn't leave enough time to give my daughter the blue ombré that she waited months to get!

After the woman did a half a$$ed job the first time she offered for us to come back when she had the proper amount of time to do a better job. We accepted, paid her, tipped her, and left.

When we went back to take her up on the offer to redo the hairstyle that she offered for free, she charged us $100 for the bleach and said she only offered to redo the color for free. The original issue was that she didn't leave the bleach in long enough and the color didn't stick. We had exchanged many text messages leading up to the planning of the redo and never did she mention (even when I told her that I wanted her to bleach it again) that she was going to charge us!

Needless to say I will be disputing the charge on my credit card. I wouldn't have paid her in the first place, but didn't want to cause a scene with my kids present.

Long story short...DO NOT GO HERE!!

The woman had a really bad day the first time we went (which we never would have known had she been a true professional) and apologized up and down for my daughters hair being wrong! Then went against her word in saying she would make it right!

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

My daughter went to her Senior Prom and although I may have made a mistake in not booking my daughter for makeup, Megan made the time between her appointments to make my daughter look spectacular. As teenage girls are pretty hard on themselves and are developing their self esteem, my daughter felt so beautiful about herself that I almost teared up with joy for her happiness. I wish to thank the ladies at the salon for making her look and feel like Cinderella.
