MAE Organic Beauty in Nashville, TN

Mae is so unprofessional and unclean. Go to pure Nashville for all your hair needs! Their new staff isn't kind and charged me a single mom full price and denied me service because I was 1 min over their cut off time. They wouldn't even reschedule me or just put the color on. They are lazy and inconsiderate. Pure on the other hand is a beautiful salon and so kind and got me in right away!

Not sure what happened today... a couple of weeks ago I scheduled an appointment At Mae organic through Vagaro, the online booking service that this salon uses. I received multiple text confirmations from the salon for my appointment today (Saturday) at 2pm.

I pull up and don't see any cars (weird for a Saturday), I knock on the door and it is locked and there was no one inside. I check their Instagram and my calendar appointment invite from the business to confirm I was at the correct location, since I remember seeing that they had recently moved. I was at the correct address, in Berry Hill.

I called. No one answered. I messaged on Instagram, still no reply several hours later. I understand if there was an emergency or something, but I know there is more than one staff member who works at the salon. SOMEONE could have at LEAST left a note on the door.

It's BEYOND frustrating to have your time wasted like that. Also it's impossible to find a stylist with open evening or weekend bookings right now . So the search for another stylist BEGINS AGAIN

I wasn't able to make my appointment as the whole covid thing messed up my schedule but e wry one I dealt with on the phone was SO DARN NICE!!!
Can't wait to try again.

Mallory is a magician, and works wonders to dull hair that needs a revamp!

From start to finish I have nothing but wonderful things to say. I was previously seeing a stylist/colorist at another organic salon in Nashville, but my past two or three visits I was never 100% satisfied. Didn't fully listen to what I was looking for, my little blonde she did give me turned brassy within a week and I did not like my look.

I finally decided to try somewhere and someone new and happened upon MAE. I only go to organic salons with safer products so it popped up at the top of my Google search. After stalking their Instagram and their stylists Instagrams, I decided I wanted to make a consultation appointment with Mallory, which was so easy to do online. Within minutes I had a confirmation email of my appointment.

The salon itself is gorgeous! Clean, sleek, stylish... you feel good being there. The consultation went great, I told her what my current frustrations were and what I was looking for as an end result. She was so easy to work with and assured me we could easily accomplish my hair goals.

Fast forward about a month to my actual appointment. I walked out feeling so amazing, which is how someone should always feel walking out of a salon. She completely revitalized my hair, removing all brassy color and inserting bright lovely blonde in a cooler tone which I wanted all along. Looks natural and fresh.

Their hair wash bowls are THE BEST. Flat surface for your neck, so no pain with the shampoo, thank you :)

The next day at work, the grocery store, and my gym... I got approximately 12 compliments on my hair. THANK YOU Mallory!

Just have to say again what a wonder Sarah has been. She has to put up with a lot on me, but never lets it shows.
So glad I found her, my hair looks better than it has in decades.
