Elle and Emily are an amazing team and my extensions are beautiful and my natural hair has thrived and gotten even longer all the while having long beautiful extensions in. The care that Elle and Emily put into their clients hair is unmatched and absolutely top notch. I will never go anywhere else. ***BEWARE*** Elisabeth White, aka Elle/Liz, does not know what she is doing. She is dishonest about price and lacks knowledge and skills when it comes to coloring and I suppose cutting hair too (according to other reviewer). Provided price in writing via text of $305 for a cut and color and then at the end of service claimed she did $500-600 work on my hair but would discount me to $435. What she actually did: cut and color and demi-permanent toner. Every other place says that should have been $180-200. Check out other platforms for similar reviews. There is a pattern here. I requested help with getting rid of red/orange hair originally. After 7 days and 1 wash hair was red/orange again just like it was prior to appt. When I returned for a color correction Elle immediately began gaslighting me and screaming over top of me refusing to let me speak about the situation in front of another client. She took no accountability and was 100% unwilling to act like an adult and have a conversation to determine what went wrong. This interaction was recorded and as I've replayed it and shared it with others everyone can see how aggressive and mentally unstable this woman is. Sending you one text about my hair color only lasting one week. Then showing up for a scheduled appt where I decided not to proceed as you were being aggressive towards me. And as a stood up and grabbed my purse to leave and confronted you on this poor behavior you began screaming, "This is harassment." Sorry, but that's not quite near harassment. That was a "normal" conversation from one adult to another. And you chose to scream as if you were a toddler covering your ears and throwing a tantrum trying to drown me out from discussing the poor job you did. My recording is proof that you are incredibly aggressive, unethical and just an all-around awful person. During the appt she burned my ears with the blow dryer. I screamed ouch and pulled away and had to cover my ear. Her response, "the blow dryer gets hot." No apology. No accountability. All blow dryers get hot... That's why you keep it moving and don't hold it over someone's ear for an extended amount of time! When I got home I had brown dye down the right side of my cheek. I wore this on my face for 3 days before it completed faded away. I normally let my hair dry naturally and it is wavy. I decided to blow dry it 9/16 and my hair is straighter and I can see Elle also did a horrible job with the haircut. It's much longer on the left than right side (this has been verified by friends/family). FYI to other clients who experienced the same issue: you can dispute the CC charge for failure to provide full services (for an uneven haircut or bad color job) when she refuses to take accountability and attempt to fix it. Putting a client down for a color fix appt and then speaking to them in a condescending, bullying, and threatening manner shows unwillingness to take accountability and fix the mess you made. Also concerning, When I look up all 3 of her names on bcb.az.gov/license-verification, no cosmetology license can be found for her. Is she even licensed or performing services illegally? And look at the hidden reviews on here. 2 other people saying Elle lied about pricing and skills and was also belligerent to them when they asked for corrections. I have attached a screenshot of a review from a concerned mother who claims Elle colored her minor child's hair without parental consent, did a horrible color job, and originally quoted $400-500 but end of service charged $620 (bullying and intimidating a child for money... SICK).

Scheduled online - no one was at the business when I arrived and no one answered the phone. Boo I really wanted this hair cut and color.

I found Madhairlab via Google search and excitedly booked an appointment when I saw they offered curly cuts. I was NOT disappointed. From the ease of booking the appointment (online), to the final touches, Elle and Emily surpassed my expectations. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and more than delivered on the curly cut. They dry cut the curls to my desired style/ length, then washed and gave me a deep condition, dried and straightened my hair, and then took the time to CUT again to ensure everything was even. If you've been searching for a good haircut for your curls, you've found it. This was the best haircut I've ever had.

I am from Las Vegas and was visiting a friend. I just happen to come across this place and wow, just WOW!! Elle was amazing. I left with a great new look. I'm getting compliments from all of my friends and family. I would highly recommend this place to you. If you're looking for the best, then How convenient: You just found everything you were looking for!!
