Madera Hair Studio in El Paso, TX

I had my hair cut, and colored here. I was very impressed with how the salon is laid out. It feels spacious, and has beautiful windows that let the light into it. The cut and color were even better than I had hoped for here! Thank I would definitely recommend this salon!

Best haircut I've had in years!! I showed Ana a picture of what I wanted and she completely exceed expectations! She is amazing very detailed and takes her time with you (2hour cut). I definitely recommend Madera Hair Studio. Thank you Ana!! 3/7/20 Went back for a trim and took my mom with me. Again, Ana gave her an amazing cut and conditioning treatment. We live in the East side of El Paso but I gladly make the drive just to see her! Great service and talented hair salon/professionals!

Don't get your nails done here unless you have 2 and half hours to spend on getting just a manicure. The service took SO long and required a reservation a week in advance. Our nail technician Daniela did not warn us when we made the reservation that there is only one nail technician available. My mother and I could only be served one at a time, hence the 2.5 hours in the salon. The manicure was completely dry: no hot water or hot wet cloth, no lotion. The technician lotioned her own hands during the manicure but not mine. She was also critical of my cuticles, telling me to moisturize them with oil next time so they won't be so dry. Her tone was friendly and the cost was cheap, but overall it was a poor experience. We won't be coming back.

I was happy I found Madera through a group on since I've been shopping for a new stylist. I want to give Iris 5 stars since she was very thorough with my haircut. She is very delicate which made me feel comfortable. The end result was fabulous and healthy looking hair. Will be coming back for my next haircut.

I am so happy I found Ana and Madera Hair Studio! Ana was absolutely amazing and one of the nicest people I have met so far in El Paso! I'm originally from Las Vegas, but my husband and I moved from Houston to El Paso. I desperately needed a haircut and I'm still thanking God I found Ana. So backstory - I've had long hair my entire life. I'm pretty sure I walked out of the womb with long hair. My mom always told me to never cut my hair too short, ever - even if there was a fire (Stepbrothers joke). So every hairstylist I've had also felt that I could never cut my hair too short. My hair was so long and annoying that I now know how Mulan felt and I also wanted to just get a samurai sword and cut it, but thankfully Ana did it for me. My hair is the shortest it's ever been and I'm loving it! My 30th birthday is in August and I'm ready to crush my 30s. I promised Ana I'm coming back for coloring after my first commission check! (And now it's on the internet, Ana, so you know it's real lol!) I also told Ana I couldn't tell my mom or anyone about my hair, but I grew a pair and told her and blasted it on FB and IG lol. Everyone is shocked but they love it!
