Just when I though things couldn't get any more adorable at the Commons, M Salon shows up and gets me all giddy. If you're looking for an intimate salon & spa experience in an atmosphere unparalleled to any other, groove on over to this new addition. It might take you a few walks around building 50 to find it, but we'll say that's half the fun. Currently, I can only comment on the great pedicure I experienced, but there will be more visits, including a facial, very soon. Both shellac and my fave OPI were available to choose from, although the selection seemed a tad slim. But I may be used to the wall of colors you find elsewhere, and half of those are the same anyway. The Petoskey stones in the soaking tub pulled at my nostalgic heart strings and they add a unique detail. Get ready for comfy chairs and an abundance of natural light. They use Pureology hair products and I hear that's the bees knees. Late hours mid-week are two thumbs up in my book, free parking is a no brainier, and I felt completely welcome and genuinely appreciated here. The staff is unpretentious and adorably nice; I could tell they enjoy working there. The pricing will not leave you feeling depressed, and their online booking and text reminders make it easy to pamper yourself at any time, and if you're like me, to avoid talking to people on the phone.
