M.J. Capelli on 33rd Salon in Fargo, ND

I called the Fargo salon on 13 ave s near 33 st and asked to make appt with someone to wash/condition and trim my daughter's hair and then blow out dry and style it. Assigned to Kayla and I confirmed in person that I wanted her to blow dry and style my child's hair after the trim. However after the trim Kayla just sat my child under the chair dryer instead and walked away without talking to me about changing the plan from a blow out/style.  Kayla then told me to pay even though my child's hair was still wet.  My child was uncomfortable sitting under dryer chair for a very long time while it did not appear to be drying her hair at all.  Although Kayla then did agree to use a blow dryer, she said she did not have time to do the style /curling iron even though she had already charged us for the style rate. Did not get the service I made the appt/paid for.

I used to go to MJ Capelli's for many years. I had to go back about 3 times
to get a bad cut fixed by someone who was better than who cut my hair
but it was usually okay.
The haircut was not the problem. The last time I went there I think it
cost me $22. Their website says they charge $24 for a men's haircut.
I was charged $34. I said there must be a mistake and was told that
was the price. I feel like I was ripped off. I won't be back.

I have been getting my hair cut at MJ capelli for years. Last summer I asked for a trim and the stylist took over 8 inches off. My hair went from waist length to shoulder length, I chose not to write a review then, and went to another location, the 13th Ave location by natural pet center. I asked for a cut and layers, with a shampoo. When the stylist was finished cutting my hair, she asked if I needed anything else, so I asked her to try my hair as it was sopping wet and I couldn't even tell how the cut really looked. She refused to dry my hair saying I paid for a shampoo and cut, and that she didn't have time to dry it. When I got home I dried it, and while it looks nice it's not exactly what I had asked for, and I was astonished by her refusal to dry it. I have never left a salon with a head of sopping wet hair before. I may have to reconsider where I get my hair done, which is sad as Kelly is a good friend of mine, so I try to support her dad's business.

Amazing staff!!!! Go see Marie she does amazing work!!! My family goes to her too just all around great hairstylist!!! Wish I could give a 10 stars rating!!!

Marie Roland is amazing! She's a really great colorist and does amazing special occasion hair! She also is really great at recommending awesome new products! Definitely a lifesaver for someone like me that likes to change up their hair often! Definitely would recommend her to anyone!
