I absolutely love this barber! The employees were so sweet when my son got his hair cut yesterday. Jerica is such a sweetheart! Highly recommend coming here.
The barber was well lite and clean. The price for a haircut is affordable- don't forget to leave a tip!

There is a very real chance that your appointment time won't be honored. I made an appointment for a beard trim at 11:30 with Daniel (didn't ask for him, was assigned) and arrived 10 minutes early just to be safe. Ended up waiting over 20 minutes past my 11:30 appointment time with no idea how much longer I was going to wait, as Daniel was just finishing washing the guy's hair in front of me. Another barber had finished up with a customer and was standing in front of his station trimming his beard. It felt somewhat disrespectful, if anything they disrespected my time. I had an event to attend so I left without service. I didn't care who trimmed my beard and wasn't given the option at any point.

Their Google reviews are peppered with experiences like mine. I ignored them. I wish I hadn't. I live over a half hour away and with gas prices it was some what stupid to take this place seriously. They didn't say a word as I left either. I'm sure they don't need the business but being disrespectful of people's time is ridiculous. Isn't that the whole point of appointments?

I got a text from my Mom. "Jeff, Grandpa was serious about wanting a haircut." Someone has to be pretty desperate if they want me anywhere near their head with a set of scissors. I don't know about you, but I feel amazing after a great haircut. That hit me hard.

Grandpa has been struggling. We are in the hospice stage now. 100 years old, what an amazing life he's lived. He deserved more than me taking a whack at his hair (and he's always had good hair).

My first thought was, maybe I can call Barber Bethany. My son and I have been seeing her for years now. Every single barber we've had the pleasure of having an appointment with at M.Boss has been professional and extremely talented at their craft. Bethany has always been our go-to because of our friendship. I thought it would take a certain level of coaxing, and I was wrong. She didn't even hesitate! She immediately said, "I can do it tomorrow - send me his address!"

To some, maybe it's just a haircut. To me, that was an incredible gesture by an amazing friend who is on a level with her craft that most may never achieve. Bethany owns and Operates M.Boss Barber and Salon and Foxy Boss downtown. And she did me a solid she didn't have to do.

Look at the smile on Grandpa's face. Man, that made my day. That moment is one I won't forget. Everyone deserves to feel good. Especially at 100!
