Maybe an off day but we had an awful experience here!
We had a big event to attend the next day so three of us went in for a mani pedi.
We were sat in pedicure chairs and attended to very quickly. We were given menus of services.
I choice the classic combo for $45 as well as person next to me. I was completely done and left to dry in 17mins! The person next to me was gettin hot towels. I did not get those. When asked, the women was very short and said, she got classic! And walked away.
I decided not to make a big deal as I was already painted and done.
When I went to leave, I was charged $50. I explained the menu said $45. She said, well this is price and pointed at the $50 on the register. So, it came out of her tip as I told her that was not right to do to people. $50 was still a fair price to pay and I would have, it was just the fact that is was not the listed price and that even after showing her, she did not care.
Later that day my legs got a rash and itched. It was from a bacteria that was on the chair/foot bowl. Yuck
Then the lady who wrnt with me woke to her toe nail polish missing on 3 toes! The whole nails worth of polish just popped right off??? It was so strange.
A family friend had recommened this place. She was so embaressed. She thought perhaps they were just too busy but the price change she agreeded was not right. She now goes to another salon too.
I've had 2 great experiences here! I'm pretty sure I've finally found my nail Salon in Castle Rock!!
We LOVE Luxury Nails and we won't go anywhere else. Abbey is amazing... takes her time and cares about her customers. Everyone in the salon is super friendly too. Thanks for be awesome Abbey!
Ugh... came in to relax and the lady was in such a hurry there was nothing relaxing about my 80.00 pedi. She kept picking up my foot and slamming it down, she was scraping off my old polish so rough I had to tell her to stop. barely a massage if that's what you wanna call it, completely disappointed. Unfortunately I will not be back.
Don't sanitize. I used to bring my own tools because I watched them carefully over time using the same tools on different clients without cleaning/sanitizing. Quality of work also declined over time. Just don't go there. There are too many nail salons in town to chose from. If you want a high end experience, you're better served going to a real spä salon.
