Great facial by Hannah! Had the lash tint and lift as well and it lasted over a month. Very relaxing place.

I went to Hannah Farmer, and it was the best facial I had. She explained everything as she did it, looked at my trouble spots, and made it so relaxing. The strawberry mask made my skin so soft! I would recommend her and the salon. It was a great place and easy to get to.  I will be rebooking.

I have had great experiences with Hannah and Grace so far. I have seen Hannah twice for a facial with chemical peel and then for a lash lift. I got a classic manicure and pedicure with Grace. Both women are so pleasant and have wonderful senses of humor. The time passes and I don't realize I have been there for so long. They both deserve 5 stars. I had an uncomfortable experience asking about the hair salon portion of the business. Because I wear a hijab and the hair salon is out in the open, I inquired about the possibility of a private room. The salon coordinator said there are no private rooms for hair and there wasn't a way to configure an appointment where men were not present. That's understandable and I didn't expect it at all given Rhode Island generally isn't hijab-inclusive yet. It was when the salon coordinator shared that another woman used to come not wanting hair services in front of men for similar reasons but decided "it wasn't that important" and used the open salon. The suggestion that I should act similarly was uncomfortable because my privacy is important otherwise I wouldn't wear a hijab and ask the question. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt but it could have stopped at explaining how there are no private hair rooms (-1 star). Despite that, I'll continue to book with Hannah and Grace for future face and nail services. They were hospitable, clean, thorough, and relatable.

I was given a gift card in the Summer of 2021. I finally used it a few months later and found Amanda. She is an awesome stylist. I used up the gift card but kept going back.  Today I had another wonderful haircut done by Amanda plus I had scheduled to have my brows waxed by Emanuella. She was great. I have had my brows waxed before but no one ever had that much attention to detail, nor did they explain what they were doing at each step. This is a wonderful place staffed with people who know their thing. A special note about Debbie - I  believe she is the coordinator of the salon - She is awesome. If something comes up and you have to change an appointment or if you have to add in a service or if you just want to know how to proceed, she can guide you.  I am looking forward to being a client of Luminous for many years to come.

Searched for a replacement for my retired barber for months, no one was able to do a good job. Debbie introduced me to Rick and he was awesome. Really listened, washed, cut and dried how I asked. Definitely worth the money!
