The owner is great with doing hair, she really is. Sadly, I'm looking for a new salon due to other reasons. At times, there are 2-3 people working on your hair, the owner will be working on your hair while talking on her cell phone, the owner will have friends come in and chat while she is working on your hair. I believe if you are paying good money for someone to do your hair, they should be giving you full attention. Also, they will overbook. Sometimes the owner will book 3 people at the same time so she'll work on your hair for a minute, then change to another person, then back to you. I used to love coming here but this past year I feel as though my appointments are just rushed through. When I first came here, they would curl my hair and make it look really nice. Now, it's just a blow dry and a quick use of a straighter. I wish the professionalism was still at this salon.
What I love most about this salon is the creativity and expertise of the owner and staff. Only high quality, cutting edge products and techniques are used. Lois, the salon owner, is always familiar with the latest styles and products. She takes the time to discuss your style and color and makes innovative suggestions. She teaches you how to style your hair and suggests products which may be helpful. While recommendations are made, there is no pressure to buy. I have really LOVED my hair since going to looks!! There are also many other great services at the salon - nails, tanning, lashes. All technicians are top of the line. I highly recommend Looks!!!
