I was out of town and found out that I would be deploying. I needed a quick protective style for my locs and reached out to locs n more. I asked for two braids going back with a single braid in the back.
I came early and was taken straight to the chair. I asked if the owner accepted Visa and she said you are deploying tomorrow and there will be no charge. I was FLOORED! I was like omg I have no cash I can't even tip you and she said it's not about that. She proceeded to braid my hair beautifully and sew the back up so I would not have to pin it daily.
I have never received such great treatment and care. I'm almost in tears as I am writing this. As she braided my hair she encouraged me to take care of myself and meditate during my deployment.
If I lived here I would be here every week.
