I loved seeing Julie. She always did a great job and was an enjoyable person to interact with. She also didn't charge ridiculous prices. Alas, all things eventually end. Her health didn't allow her to continue doing this work so she closed down. I'm glad she can rest and hope her health improves. May she enjoy a future in Hong Kong as she wishes.
Since the pandemic I've been cutting my own hair a lot, but I've been seeing Julie (and Lisa before that) for over 20 years... she will be missed.
I've been going to Julie for years and by far she is my favorite haircutter I've ever had. She is so patient and great at what she does. The value for her haircut is excellent and she spends a great deal of time on your hair. To top it off, she is incredibly friendly and a joy to interact with. There's no other business in San Francisco I'd recommend more than Lisa for Hair
Hidden gem. Lisa is not only the sweetest but she does a perfect job when it comes to cutting hair! She also had great recommendations for maintaining my hair and keeping it healthy. I had been looking for someone to start seeing on the regular for trims and happened to walk by Lisa's shop. I'm glad I was able to see her because I left feeling like I was walking on sunshine. Went to Lisa because I need s cut and everywhere I tried was booked since was last minute and I wasn't interested in paying 200$+ for a cut since all I need was a trim. She was so nice and accommodating to my request did such a great job on my hair she is now def my go to for haircut
