I heard amazing things about Amanda the owner, and a friend of mine referred me to a stylist there from Florida. Unfortunately, the stylist didn't listen or pay attention to the pictures that I showed her. This was a simple, blunt cut, a partial and a base. When I left the salon, I had a 2 inch ring of color stained around my face that was not removed. The color was so dark and the cut is uneven. A partial with only 10 foils? I have shoulder length hair. Never sectioned off my hair to cut it. She just started cutting across the bottom all the way around then presented me on a clipboard with a $71 charge for a haircut and the costs of the hair color. Very upset. Won't return.

Amanda and her team have done my hair since 2008. I love them all. The time I spend in the salon is therapy, lots of giggles and they make me look like a babe every single time. I send anyone new to Nashville to Leigh Edwards. Stop googling for a new hair salon. Call LE&C and book your appointment

So, it was an okay experience but considering the cost ($96 for a woman's hair cut) I feel like 3 stars is somewhat generous.  

They cut hair dry which I wasn't the biggest fan of but I accept it. After my hair was washed, the stylist used no product whatsoever before blowdrying and curling it. Not even a heat protectant? This bothered me but I was honestly ready to go.

I was displeased I didn't find out the haircut was nearly double the listed price on the website until I had a cape on. At that point I really needed a haircut so I let it go but I'll never be back.

Also, the ambiance left something to be desired. It was very, very cramped and not a very relaxing environment. But again, I'll give 3 stars because the end result style looked pretty good.

Honestly, this is tough to put out there but I just need to speak my piece. I am really upset about the outcome of my hair and the price paid. I got a partial highlight and deva cut for $305. That's not including a tip. The cost of the cut is $138, which I saw on the website ahead of time. A full highlight is listed at $125 on the website, but somehow my partial highlight service resulted at $167 as the difference. I had a long time at the salon just trying to have the stylist try to correct the tone of the highlight. I was also being juggled with another client. 3x and still nothing like the photo I showed. I wanted a pretty rose gold and ended up with an ashy light blonde. The stylist's impatience with the situation was palpable. Upon checkout I was so flustered and the receipt was not itemized. Looking back I wish I had stood up for myself. I paid $167 for chemicals being thrown on my head (causing damage) and not even benefiting from what I went in to accomplish, to feel pretty. Life's too short to not get what you pay for!
