Went in for a manicure, probably 4th time I had been in. The place was empty. The nail tech was an older lady that spoke no English. I signaled to the manager that the tech didn't know what she was doing about 20 minutes into a basic manicure.
I was there 45 minutes and walked out with the worst manicure I've ever had.
Now I know why the place was like a ghost town. Something's gone wrong here. I won't be back!
Unfortunately, I had a negative experience at Lee Spa Nails in Mooresville, NC. A man who can't be called a "gentleman" did my manicure. This man also happens to be the owner of the salon and he was rude and impatient. I was getting a regular manicure done and he was not filing my nails correctly, I politely said to him I don't want sharp edges around the nail, then he replied sarcastically
" whatever you want". I felt very uncomfortable having him doing my nails. To say the least, he did a horrible job. What's worst is the negative experience due to his unprofessional and disrespectful attitude.
How is this place still in business with an owner who treats clients disrespectfully?
I may be a rare case but I called around 1pm asking if they where taking any walk in's & the nice women who answered the phone asked me what time I'd like to come in.. I told her 2pm she said okay see you soon. I arrived on time & little to no wait I was taken back to the pedi chair! I received the spa pedicure which was amazing by Ashley. Ashley was kind and gentle had me relaxed the entire time. Can't wait to go back!
I gave this place a second try because of first experience was not good. The acrylic goes over my cuticle bed and the nails are flat and poorly shaped. They look like a cheap set of press on nails rather than acrylics. I went in for a fill and wasted $45. Will not be back again.
Very nice set up and choices of colors, however the acrylic is over my cuticles along with the sides of my finger and after removing majority by my self and I went to another salon and they could not believe how much acrylic was on my cuticle and skin and they could not even remove it.
