Lee David Salon in Huntington, WV

I've been a client of Lee David Salon for more than 20 years. Before discovering Lee David, I tried several other businesses. Some were good while others never got a second visit from me. When I discovered Lee David, I knew I had found my new home. Graciously greeted at the door by the receptionist and when it was time for me to go sit for my appointment, the owners and other stylists greeted me as well. My stylist asked me questions about what I wanted. I got exactly what I wanted and more. I was hooked. This business was magical in every way. I'm sitting here today getting color. I remember when one would go to an appointment for color and the stylist would look at your hair and then mix up what he or she thought it should be. It never turned out just alike. At Lee David one's color is kept on the computer and it is printed out right before your appointment so the stylist knows exactly how to mix it up. They keep up with the latest styles, cuts and colors by attending Paul Mitchell training events and get a glimpse of what style is heading their way next. Their salon is spectacularly arranged (even though Covid) with hair products, enough space between stations, separate rooms for processing, washing and one for styling. Upon entering, the receptionist greets you and asks you who you have an appointment with if she doesn't recognize you. While waiting you can get a cookie and a cup of water. While you are processing, they will bring you a cup of coffee. The closest thing I can compare it to is a perfect vacation day just for yourself. I never leave before I make my next two or three appointments. When you are ready to leave, don't be surprised if you get a couple of hugs and several compliments on your hair. You feel like a million bucks! Put those sunglasses on and strut to your car. Touch up your lipstick and run a couple errands just to show off the new you. You won't be sorry.

Great place, wonderful stylists with professional training and very reasonably priced. Actually cheaper then the mega mart places. They have customers from small children, teens,young adults and adults. I have had my hair styled by many people before but I'm not going anyplace else anymore!

My stylist was AJ. I have never had a more positive experience at a salon. I am not skilled in describing a style for myself and i always encourage artisitic liberty. The only descriptors i can confidently give are, "I have a pixie cut and want it to be low maintenance". AJ was the first stylist who taught me how to "style" my hair while maintaining the low maintenance aspect. He was patient and showed great attention to detail. This is the third salon i have visited in Huntington and this will be the last. My hair salon search is over.
