I made an appointment on line for a nail service. The system confirmed my appointment. I went to the appointment at the appointed time but, oh dear, they did not have me down for an appointment. When the young lady opened the iPad, low and behold my appointment appeared........but no......she had made another appointment for the same time so could I come back in an hour and a half? Not! They need to get their act together and need to check their online service which is the only option offered on their web page! Very disappointing!!!!!!!L

I genuinely don't leave reviews like this but Ive had more than one horrible experience here. I've been going here since before it was LE and i don't know when the business had a turn over but when it was crystals I had multiple bad experiences; unsure why I kept going. I was over charged, and charged different amounts for the same service over a period of time which was weird. The website and in-shop sign would say $45 for ANC and then i'd be charge $55... I would be cut on multiple fingers, leaving w raw skin and bloody cuticles, extremely long waiting times, and just overall horrible service and experience. I'm no perfectionist and I most certainly take bad days and busy lives into consideration for the person doing the service but over multiple bad experiences and such it became clear they stopped caring ab doing well and treating people w respect. My first experience back after it turning into LE nails was even worse. I was waiting for 1 hour 30 mins (usually not something that bothers me if the work is well done...) I was seated w a man who was angrily doing my nails. didn't even do what i asked for. I asked for an ANC french manicure and left w an acrylic set w white nail polish on the tips. My hands were extremely soar and hurt so bad I genuinely have a fear of getting my nails done now in fear of being hurt that bad again. A week later (today) I went to get them soaked off and my cuticles are still scabbed. The soak off experience was bad as well. The women that took them off would put acetone on them for 30 seconds then drill them off and repeat that a few times instead of just using a regular soaking method. She then took a nail tip and started to scrape the acrylic off which was extremely painful. I don't know why she did that instead of the usual soak off method. Just strange environment and weird vibes all around all the time. Not a good place, I don't like it at all. Please think twice before going here.

I have been to Crystal Nails Spa before to get pedicures and always thought the service and cleanliness of the salon was great. However, I just went to get a pedicure and manicure and the experience was subpar. When getting a pedicure my friend and I noticed toenail clippings all around. That is what made me feel grossed out and nothing was done to clean them up. The technician who was nice ignored our comments about clippings. Then when I was getting my manicure she clipped my nails too short. As I type this one bothers me at how short it is- almost painful. She failed to listen to me. I won't be going back nor recommending it to anyone. I understand it's a nail salon but there were staff waiting around and in back who could have been cleaning the place up.

have to stop going there. he talks like a pervert. asks me why i dont love him anymore because i went somewhere else a few times. says im his girlfriend and it's definitely out of place. i dont know why he thinks its okay to talk like that to a customer. is that supposed to be a guilt trip? a married man trying to make customers feel bad for not being loyal? im a grown woman that was inappropriate. he is a bit full of himself and the work he does isn't anything special. i guess if you dont like leaving town to get your nails done just gotta deal with it. if you like designs, try tnt in saratoga. if you like anc try nail studio if you like pampering try red lotus. there are many places to go. dont be guilt tripped. as a customer we have the right to choose and not feel bad about it.

I went to quan for a few years over at the place he worked at before becoming an owner ( which is half a mile down the road in the kendall way plaza, for newcomers to the neighborhood... you guys are going to have to read between the lines because what i have to say is very important and cannot ramble on and on but you can call me if you want to discuss having him shut down. here we go; so, i stopped going to his salon the first time - after his wife didn't just oopsy mess up my nails, she gave me a pink color french after i specifically asked not to have pink, i wanted clear. CLEAR MEANS " amy, (me) she's not coming back in 2 weeks lately because a clear base french anc lasts forever we are losing money)"; and i am not the type of client that comes in once in a while, i book appointments every 2 weeks religiously. well that means they aren't getting as much money from me as possible but that's not que to be sadistic and passive aggressive. SHE UNDERSTOOD MY REQUEST. don't let crystal fool you she knows enough english, she knows the words of colors and letters to put sentences together. fast tracking to the outcome, the reason why suing a nail salon for cutting you, making your nails look bad in general ie uneven or globby, or straight of doing a service without mentioning differences in price from what's in the pamphlet ..., to sue for any reason whatsoever is not only tiresome and emotionally traumatic to those who experienced the chaos...news flash! it looks petty to the malta judge that was very easy to see. might even be a bit shady over there. end of story on that opinion. i have learned to speak up on google over the span of my adult life and this is going to be the only way i can recover from the already done matter. maybe you will be able to judge for yourself if quan is an honest good person and businessman from reading this review or if it doesn't matter to you because he hadn't done anything to you. okay fine. technically speaking he will do it again and again because he is a criminal, i just hope it's not you. after being labeled an expert customer by the judge (that phrase being used in a derogatory manner in this situation) I've learned that the only way to get justice is to inform the public of such a wrong doing. we are not talking about lack of skill. we are talking about the criminal minded, egocentric behaviors of the owners and their low visibility scheming ways / cover ups (face saving) toward the client. we should start taking it seriously because this type of business can ruin the moral of anyone that would work there as an employee. and to PUNISH a client/customer from speaking up and communicating is despicable, is unprofessional and evil minded. ever notice how new people aren't hired even though they are hella busy? (just family because they know how they will get into trouble when they screw over someone same country not family) i am not promoting violent i'm promoting justice pertaining to allowing quan's nail technicians to behave in such a way that makes the client feel swindled. I will stop here for now and continue with the review. There are two more incidents i wish to whistle blow regarding how i was manipulated and scammed very subtly. the next involves bogus charges such as 45$ for a fill in and 75$ for a full set of acrylic. please see my length in the picture below to understand my nail length as a universal 10$ more charge which would total 40$ (5$ for each increment in length ie short medium long and extra long, mine are long if the salon owner is honest up front, this charge is reasonable ) please see the thinness of the nails compared to each other. the thinnest was done by quan, so he was not using more product on my nail, he was using the same amount of acrylic product he'd use for medium length nails.; which is why my nails broke the next few days before i decided to visit another salon for the extra hardness it needed and would have been suitable in the first place. if you're nobody special to them and they don't want you to come back because you're undermining his work then expect to go elsewhere. they will get you back in your wallet, manipulate who they can. i suggest if you're not happy with the service don't pay. i know it sounds like a dirtbag thing to do but take photos of the drama and don't pay for crappy service. that includes being treated unprofessionally... the credit card company sides with the merchant once the transaction is processed so beware of thinking you can dispute it. beware of thinking it's just a misunderstanding. quan is a professional allegedly in the biz for 20 years. pros don't make certain kinds of mistakes and if you think he's the best around it is because he is good, just a scammer. not saying he's going to up charge everyone 75$ for nails like mine but he will try to screw ya at some point if u cross him or get anything considered fashionable and complain or correct him about it.
