Bad customer service and false advertising. Changed the price without any warning or discussion. On their website says womens haircut is $65. So made an appointment with Lien(owner) for both my sister and niece. They both have thick long hair. But we were never warned that the price would be different because of the thickness and length. A lady walked in to buy a gift certificate during my niece getting her haircut and asked how much haircut were. Lien said they range from $55-$75 depending on thickness and length. So my sister said I feel like it was deliberate to make a point that we maybe getting charged more. I said the price online says $65 so I'm sure if she was going to charge more she would let us know ahead of time so we can have the option to decide if the price change would be ok. But she did not discuss any price differences. It wasn't until she was completely done cutting both of their hair and was checking us out. She said my niece is $75 and my sister was $100 for a haircut. I said on your website it says $65 so we did not expect to pay that much. She said your niece is more because of the thickness and your sister because of the length. I felt horrible because I was the one who found them and booked the appointment and let them know it says $65 for a haircut. And for it to jump to $55 more with no discussion or warning was extremely unprofessional. Especially if the fact that she told the lady buying the gift certificate it only ranges from $55-$75 and then decide to charge my sister $100 for a haircut. That is a huge difference $45 dollars more then what they advertise on their website. And never mentioned it to my niece or sister until they were paying. And we were in shock and still tipped her. Would not recommend

She gave my daughter a severe chemical burn. My daughter has had to get medical treatment and lost hair. She has come back accusing her of having mental health issues and said she believes my daughter has problems with drinking and substance abuse causing part of her pain. This is her response to the BBB. She is a licensed professional who sue to her negligence caused a chemical burn period. So I would not suggest this place as if o e can. it even take responsibility for causing a chemical burn and instead wants to slander the person it happened to does she care about any client? On Saturday, June 11 2022, I had a hair service done at Lavish Beauty Salon. My hair service didn't go as planned. Lien, the manager, dried my hair which caused it to have breakage as well as redness and irritation on my scalp, ears, and neck. It was an ugly hair color and left my hair very dull and dry and not vibrant. Not good. When I made my hair appointment I asked Lien what kind of shampoo and conditioner she uses. She said she uses Pureology brand products and I said that I needed to use Pureology Smooth Perfection. She said okay. When she started to put a product called Malibu Professional CPR on my scalp I told her that my hair is healthy and I asked if the product is not going to dry out my hair. She said no it will make the hair healthy, which it did not. My head felt very heavy after she was done. While the product was still on my head I began to feel my scalp burning and I immediately told Lien that the product was burning my scalp. She said it stays on for 30 minutes and that she will take the cap off in 5 minutes. After she took the cap off I told her my scalp was burning. After 30 minutes I told her my scalp was burning. She said the longer the better and knowing that my scalp was burning she left me sitting even longer. When she went to wash may hair out she used a different Pureology shampoo then the one we discussed when I made the appointment. The bottle she used was a purple bottle but the color of the Pureology Smooth Perfection, that I needed, is pink. I even reminded her that I needed to use the pink bottle when I got to the salon. After using something different than what I asked for, she went and got the pink bottle of conditioner and said she will wash it again with another shampoo. I said no, who wants a two different shampoos and conditioners in their hair. I went to 3 other salons for them to look at my scalp and hair. They all said my scalp had redness and irritation and dry hair which caused my hair to have breakage. They also noticed the rash and irritation behind my ears that was itchy so I made a doctor appointment. My doctor said that I likely suffered from a chemical burn and recommended me to see a dermatologist. I made the dermatologist appointment and saw them Tuesday, June 29 2022 and was prescribed a solution that I need to use for 3 weeks or longer to clear up my scalp. I have an awesome hair dresser who has been doing my hair for a year. I was not able to get in with her which is why I went to Lavish. I was able to recently see my hair dresser so she could give me a treatment and to cut my hair to correct the damage. She said she had never seen my hair this bad. I still need to cut my hair shorter because of the dryness and damage. Since my visit at Lavish was on a Saturday and they were closed on Sunday and Monday, I had to wait till Tuesday to call Lien. On Tuesday I called Lien to let her know that I was not happy withy my service. She said she would call me back but never did. I tried to reach her on Wednesday and she was able to return my call then. She said she needs a few days to process this. I sent her pictures of my hair, scalp, and ears showing the redness and irritation. Lien did say she would but a hair treatment and do a glaze in my hair. At this point, No thank you. I do not trust her doing any kind of hair service to my hair. As of a week later I contacted her and she tells me she will call me back but never did. She knows she did not do a great job on my hair. I don't mind paying good money for quality hair service but that is not what I got. no tip was added. Lien is over priced for what kind of service you get. Lien has been putting me off since I told her about my hair on June 14 2022. Being a manager, who does that? I told her I would send pictures and I did but never got a response. She knows she is in the wrong and won't make it right by giving me the full refund that I have asked for. I was able to put my undercut into a pony tail prior to my service with Lien. Now my hair is a lot shorter due to the breakage and I am not able to put my undercut in a pony tail. After two weeks of Lien not getting back with me I then contacted someone higher and she gave me my refund. After my dermatologist appointment and receiving my prescription, I texted Lien to see if she would be willing to cover my co-pays for my medical appointments and medication for my scalp. I told her that I have the receipts. She texted back and said that she could not.

Took my son to get his hair cut here. Amber clearly doesn't know how to cut hair. When she was done she asked my husband and he told me it was better to leave and cut our losses. There was no blending done whatsoever and the top of hair looked like it was hacked. He went to school and everyone made fun of him. For $30 for a boys haircut I expected better than a Fantastic Sams or Great Clips and didn't expect it to be as bad as it is for a "high end salon".
