I've been coming here for years. From the days when it was 5 bucks to 10 today. Bidenomics has really taken a toll on this country. Amy, my usual stylist always takes care of me. Patiently perfecting the lines and catching strands missed. They are also the official barber of the UNITED STATES ARMY. They have served our troops for many years until the closure of the Presidio Army Base. Definitely deflation priced hair cuts. Keep in mind it's very old school. Walk ins are welcome but my stylist is always busy so recommend making an appointment.

I came here in a spur of the moment while waiting around for dimsum seating next door at Lai Hong and I was in & out before they called our name (20min). So when I say FAST service I mean it! Requested layers and curtain bangs by showing a photo. I think the owner, or another lady took me and tried to speak Canto to me at first but when I didn't understand she just nodded. I let the Google/Yelp reviews take the wheel as I wanted a fast, cheap, but decent hair cut. They delivered exactly just that, as I paid only $12! Originally $10 but the lady spoke no English except to exclaim "WAAH a lot of hair!" 3X once when she was combing through, second when she kept thinning out my hair for the layers and third when she looked at the floor at my discarded hair strewn around her feet. LOL. I really didn't mind and ended up tipping her $5 as she did a fantastic job. Multiple people complimented and asked me the next day where I got my haircut and when I said at a $10 hair salon in Chinatown they were impressed. Will be be coming back regularly and showing the same photo I had shown lol Lana has me hooked!
