My mother and I went to Gavin.
Gavin completely ruined the back of my mother's hair (see photos), chopped it in half, not to mention the color was way off from the color she was seeking, she even went back to show him the color.
No one ever called me to confirm my appointment, but they did my mother's (we went at different times, same day), I called twice and was given wrong information that I was with another stylist, I called back and they had the correct appointment. Then there is some kind of a club you can join, my mother received a little card, I did not.
During the hair washing, my shirt was completely drenched; they did put it in the dryer.
Other salons I have been to they maybe don't style your hair unless you pay for it, but at least blow it dry a little to see how the color turned out and not let you leave with wet hair, maybe you would have seen my mother's color and how off it was.
Gavin asked if I used purple shampoo, I said no, it does not work for me and that I don't feel I should have to do maintenance on hair color after paying these high prices. At time of checkout Gavin brought up a little basket with products that he used and one of them was a purple shampoo, he said to use it every other washing, I bathe every day, so my hair gets washed daily. To me when a stylist says to use a purple shampoo that often that is a red flag.
I also purchased something from the boutique near the reception desk, when I got it home it turned out to be a piece of cheap junk, I called the salon and they said boutique items are not refundable, funny I did not see a sign in the lobby stating that, so now I am stuck with this item.
Gavin was a nice person, but maybe needs more supervision and maybe cut his 5-inch finger nails which I could see was a handicap while cutting hair (maybe why my mother's hair got ruined). She since has found another salon and the stylist said she has never seen such a haircut like my mother's. It will take months for my mother's hair to get back to normal in the back.

I get my hair trimmed and get a smoothing treatment. I would fully trust him/someone else there to do extensions or color my hair, but I don't use those services!
Everyone there is friendly. The salon itself is very comfortable and has a cool vibe. It doesn't hurt that they're located just over a mile from my house!
I truly believe you get what you pay for. Are there less expensive places to get a trim? Sure! But you get what you pay for!
Beautiful salon with warm and friendly stylists. Everything was a breeze from booking an appointment (with only a few days notice) to getting my cut and style and my photo taken at the end. Walked out feeling confident and relaxed after a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend Livie!
Lyssa and Devin are amazing. My haircuts have been great with each. Everyone is very welcoming as well. My only complaint is my color visit with another stylist but I don't think it was her fault. When i have someone cut my hair and want it styled I expect them to style it, yet another employee did my blow dry style. Lyssa and others at other salons have often after blow dry made a few adjustments after drying to the cut so why would you not want the person cutting your hair to also style it?
