I have been coming to this establishment for many years. I have a lot of allergies to fragrances, chemicals, etc., so I am very picky about where I go for services.  Leah is the best I have ever seen - she is very careful and caring, and will explain everything she does and why.  Her products are top notch, and I have NEVER had a reaction to any of the Yonka products she uses.  My complexion has gotten brighter, breakouts don't happen, and I love the microdermabrasion she does on my skin. She does back facials(yes, if you want to look good in a bathing suit) and she'll shape your brows, etc.  She truly does want you to look your best & she'll give you tips on how to keep your skin looking good.  I have back problems but have never hesitated in getting a massage from Sonny.  He is also very capable and professional - he will explain what he is doing, and I always feel so much better, my back much more relaxed after the massage.   I am also no alone in singing their praises.  If you want a professional, excellent job for facials, skin problems, massages, then this is the place to go.  I've taken many friends here & they are always satisfied with their services.

It took me a few years to find Leah, & now I go to no one else! Leah is a very good aesthetician, who will advise you on what your skin needs.  She has a great package deal that'll allow her to get rid of those dark spots, skin tags, wrinkles, blackheads & all kinds of issues you might have. She waxes or plucks brows, and will have you looking your best in no time!

I am 34 years old and Ive never had a traumatic haircut or haircut experience until now.

To start with, she (Christina) got water in my eye while washing my hair, which has never happened to me before. She didn't acknowledge that it happened or offer to get me a towel to dry it up either. I'm shy so I didnt say anything. I just tried to wipe it with my finger, worrying about messing up the eye makeup.

Then when she started to brush/comb my hair after the wash, she started from the TOP and went down. Like holy cow! You DO NOT do that with long thick hair. It HURT. It was yanking on my hair/skull. I didnt say anything, I thought it would just last for a minute.

Then she starts to cut it. I had asked for a trim, keeping the length (came in with hair down to the center of my chest) and some shaggy short layers and  face framing tapered front layers.

She starts in with the razor. Every single move she made she was pulling on my hair. She kept tangling it and yanking on it with the comb and the razor! It was SO PAINFUL. Yall I gave birth with no medication. I am not overly sensitive to pain. But I have NEVER had a person hurt me this bad doing anything to my hair. It was like she was Trying to hurt me!

She kept referencing that I had very thick hair. Yes I am aware lady! Have you never cut long thick hair before????? Stuff on your wall indicates youve been in business for 30 years and you dont know how to cut long, thick hair? Without hurting the client? And it took her FOREVER.

It was an hour and a half of TORTURE. I was near tears! I had grimaces of pain on my face the entire time and she never acknowledged it. ( I was not wearing a mask, we were in a private room, she could absolutely see my face). At one point after more than an hour in, I *accidently* let out a "fuuuck" under my breath, as an involuntary reaction to the pain. Literally didnt mean to and she heard that and was like "oh is it hurting". I said yes in a little whimper. She said she would try not to but that it was tangling so easy. I dont know why she couldnt figure out how to not have it do that but she is the only person thats ever done my hair that couldnt figure it out.

Then when shes done with the cut she says we are going to do a conditioning treatment. Im thinking shes just going to put some product in my hair and release me from her clutches, but no, she puts some intense horrible smelling shit on my hair that she wraps up and tells me she want to have it sit there for 15 minutes before she rinses it out, then blow-drys and styles it. I tell her I dont have time for that, I need to be home in 30 minutes as I have my infant son that I cannot be away from for very long. I did not anticipate a hair cut should last more than an hour and we were already at 1.5 hours.  I said can we just rinse it out and not blow dry and style. She said okay, and didnt leave the chemicals on for the whole 15 minutes. She blow-dried it a little bit so it wasn't soaking wet.

I paid, then got in the car and immediately put it in a pony tail because I was too traumatized already and pretty sure she effed up my cut too so I didnt want to look at it. I wanted to call my husband and cry because of just having my scalp pulled on and yanked on for 1.5 hours straight but my phone was dead.

When I finally had the strength to look at the cut, it was the most horrendous cut I have ever seen. All I can think is she had to have been pilled out or something. Seriously, on something to fuck it up that bad and be so unaware of how much pain I was in.  

Im attaching pictures of her cut and then one of after I FIXED IT MYSELF. The pictures dont even do how horrible it was justice. My left side was just this horizontal line under my chin that wasnt face framing at all, like seriously, a horizontal line of a layer that didnt match the other side at all.  

I think maybe she is either just used to cutting senior's hair or people with no hair or I legitimately think she took a too heavy dose of meds or something. It was a horrible experience.

I purchased a Groupon for my mom to get a cut and touch-up with Christina and she was so happy when she got home. She couldn't wait to tell me about her day at the salon and how thankful she was that she met Christina. She said that Christina provided an awesome service and believes that she gave her the best experience. My mom loves how her hair turned out!!! Christina was friendly and attentive and my mom can't wait to go again!
