LA Nails in Montrose, CO

Let me start by saying I have been a customer of LA Nails for several years and have generally had good experiences. I made an appointment today for a mani pedi. and unfortunately was overdue for the pedicure. That's my bad. As the girl began my pedicure, I noticed she and her co-workers next to her giggling and talking while glancing at my feet, knowing I don't understand their language. This behavior continued for at least ten minutes. I finally asked if she thought I waited too long to get a pedicure which she replied yes while giggling with her co-workers. I then asked if they were laughing at me and she said yes no yes. I told her to quit laughing as that was very rude. It got very quiet after that. When my pedicure was finally over, I went to a different station for the manicure "fill". The man working on my manicure was witness to the previous episode. He became extremely rude when I asked him if he would do a different shape on my nails from the one I already had. He kept shaking his head and mumbling. I asked him what was wrong and he said it's very hard to change the shape because my nails were pointed. This made no sense. After enduring his rude behavior the entire time I couldn't wait to get out of there. I contemplated leaving in the middle of it but decided to stick it out. Needless to say, I did not leave a tip this time. (not like me) I feel like service providers expect gratuities whether they provide good services or not. That is not and should not be the case. It saddens me to say i will be looking for a more professional salon.

Worst customer service ever. Rude owners. I asked for a gel but they did a dip and didn't tell me ahead of time, and raised the price. Never going back again. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

If I could give these clowns zero stars I would. My partner got gift certs for us to go get pedis during our lunch hour. He said 11:45? they said better if you're here at 11:30. We got there a few minutes before 11:30 and at 11:45 we suggested we reschedule as they were clearly not close to giving us our pedis and us getting back to work on time, one guy was starting to fill a foot bath, the other person was M.I.A.. The person in charge immediately got rude and said that when we go to get a Pedi we need to wait 7 minutes or so. I again said no prob, we will reschedule for after 5 and her attitude was so rude to us. We didn't understand why she was so rude! We made an appt for us - after seeing we weren't going to make it back to work because they clearly were overbooked, instead of us getting upset we just thought we'de reschedule - no the person upfront chose to take the low road and was horribly rude to us. She spoke to us very rudely and clearly takes our service and money for granted. I'll go to Happy Nails to use the gift certificate as they won't refund us either. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS BUSINESS AND THEIR FAMILY MY MONEY - THEY DON'T DESERVE IT - BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS AND THER WHOLE FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tina was right on time and did a great job. I asked for pointed acrylic nails with gel polish. Boom! That's what I got! I would highly recommend LA Nails.

Two people recommended LA Nails, and this location. The place is very clean, attractive. But, the manager was rude when I came in. I had called from a car dealership across town for an appointment. She said they were very busy and gave me two times available, 11:00 and 10:30. Then she said she could take me "right now". The time I called was 9:55, so the 10:30 was perfect, as I had to take a shuttle to get there. I arrived at 10:34 - the woman scolded me, said I had called 45 minutes ago and commenced to argue until I showed her my phone with the time I called. I waited a mere 5 min. The young woman who gave my pedicure was gentle and not great, but adequate. The same girl began my manicure and switched in the middle with the technician next to us. This woman's attitude was curt when I asked for a smoother file as my nails are thin and easily tear. This was the worst manicure I've ever experienced. One nail was left jagged (it tore with the filing), and the hand massage afterwards was rushed as she stood to do it, and not at all relaxing. Wasted $50, but still tipped the first girl $10 for her kindness and effort. ** Addendum - be careful what you ask for. I did ask for short toenails, and she cut one big toenail to the quick. Now several hours later, my toe is quite sore.
