Very kind, professional and thorough facial, including scrub, dead skin removal, pore cleaning, nourishing skin mask, massage, marble roller and more. Jenny spent an hour and a half on myself and a friend, very relaxing, and my skin never looked better.

One of the best facials I've had. She is knowledgable in regards to which products to use on your skin. She takes her time to make sure you get great results. My skin was glowing by the time she finished. My friend and I will definitely be coming back every chance we get.

My parents both come here once a month for facials and told me about this place. I came for the first time today and loved it! For $30, you get quite the treatment, including exfoliating and dead skin scrubs, masks, collagen treatment to lighten my freckles, and a face and neck massage. Jenny can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Highly recommended for those who want to renew their skin regularly!

The facials here are the most thorough and best at an inexpensive cost. Jenny takes her time and does it right! She uses great products and travel back to Hong Kong regularly to purchase new and great products and attend beauty conferences. I recommend her highly! You won't be disappointed!

I went to La Joi's skin care for a facial last week. It was recommended by my hair dresser who raved about the place. She's right--the owner Jenny was a very nice and experienced aesthetician who took her time to give you a great facial at a very reasonable price (1.5 hours for $30, including deep cleansing, black heads removing, hand-massage your face (depending on your skin conditions though), mask, etc.). She would give you suggestions of improving your skin conditions and not try to sell you any products like most salons do. The store is located on 8th street between Franklin and Broadway. You can take BART which is only 3 blocks away or park across the street (two public parking lots: the one closest to the store only costs $2 for any length of time if you park there after 3pm; the second one which is on 8th street and Broadway is $3 on weekends). Street parking on 8th street is 1 hour maximum for $2. Last reminder--the decor of the place is very minimal. It's definitely not a fancy place from the appearance but the service is worth of every of your penny.
