La Bona Nail Bar & Spa in Alexandria, VA

I warn all of you who get excited about manicures and pedicures because it's a relaxing experience and you love how you look afterwards. Do not go here at all I try to support because they are local, and have parking, and I was gonna go to the dollar tree afterwards, but I walked in to a messy salon. It doesn't look like anyone has even bothered to take a broom or a mop across the floor in months. It was empty, that was great, but they have such a limited nail color that it shows they don't care even about their nail color selection inventory. I sat down to get a pedicure, and there was another customer there, and both of us looked really hesitant because the women that were assigned to us seem so scared to do the job. I picked up the menu to choose which pedicure I would like to have, and I was told that those were the old menus and the old prices, but yet they were still displayed as current prices. And due to the language barrier, I was never even told with the new price was! At that point I didn't even mind I just really wanted the pedicure, but with the way things were going I decided that if I allowed them to work on my feet, I would've definitely regretted it. Eventually I had to get up and walk out once the tub that holds the water for the pedicure was filling up and about to overflow, the manicurist ran to get some half cut bucket to stick in the water to scoop the water out before it made a mess. This was incredibly unprofessional and dirty, I looked around, took the towel, dried my own feet off and walked out. There are so many other nail salons close by which will give you stellar service with even more stellar options. I had a ride over to Divine nail spa on Glebe Road, I usually go to them for some reason I thought I would try this place. I'm happy that I made my decision quickly and ended up with a fantastic experience over at Divine nail spa.

please please save your money and go to another salon! last time i got my full set done here it was sooo bad it was being done by a beginner nail tech she didn't know what she was doing. DONT COME HERE

Clean and pleasant establishment, friendly staff, no wait time, and always parking right outside. Great place!

I truly love the way my nails look. Tracy always helps me to pick out nice colors. I am pleased with the nail salon and am truly happy that it is so close and easy for me to get to. The atmosphere is peaceful and the music is just fabulous. Love the massage chairs too.

These pictures were taken right after getting my gel manicure done. Not only did the technician not file my nails right, but the color is still transparent, which is not what I was expecting for the price I paid. Although the technician was nice and handled my nails with care, there is still gel residue on my fingers. I don't get my nails done often which is why this was a disappointment.
