Oscar is the best in the area. His cuts are always meticulous and clean. Even when my son was younger and scared of haircuts Oscar was always so patient and kind with him. Lis is fantastic also. The salon is always clean and a great atmosphere.
Ever get tired of going to salon's, and the consistency of your haircut is suspect? Well look no more...L&O has been my barber and my son's for the past 2.5 years. Flaco hands down is the best barber in Chicagoland, sorry Ralph and Freddy who are awesome as well! Not to mention they're just nice people. I've recently grew a beard, and the old school style with hot lather and straight edge is pretty cool. If you want to feel like, and smell like a man...you better check them out. Truly a VIP experience!
I don't write reviews, but there is not a single other business that I frequent that gives me consistent and high quality results so I thought I could take the time to share my experience with this gem. Oscar is a master at his craft. It shows in the quality cuts, cleanliness of the salon, and professionalism of the operation. I was so used to going to barber shops, but just could not find the right one that was consistent in his availability and work. After too many bad haircuts, my friend recommended me his "barber", Oscar. I did not imagine a posh looking salon like this would have skillful barbers who will give you the best fades and line ups of your life. Oscar is in high demand however, which is why the business states appointments only. He tries to accommodate walk ins for me when I forget to schedule an appointment, but even then I call in advance to see if it's possible. In the last 5 years I have not had my hair cut by anyone else, and in the last 5 years I have not had a single bad haircut. In fact, the only reason I am still living in IL paying the second highest taxes in the country is because I do not want to chance it with another barber.
I wish I could give negative stars. Just sat waiting for someone to "greet" me for 30 minutes. Another customer walks in and is greeted immediately and taken back for a hair cut. I would not recommend this place ever. Very poor service.
