Friends and I were getting our nails done last minute before a wedding. They were able to get all 4 of us in and out. Friendly staff. If I lived closer, I would go to this nail salon again.
Asked for a gel French manicure. The guy I got was very good and very focused on detail. He got the lines super straight. I wish I had asked for him to not snip my cuticles (which is actually illegal in Georgia.) but it completely went out of my mind so he did a little bit of damage that made my cuticle sensitive the next day. It doesn't say anything for the rest of the crew but from what I saw they were very busy which I think says something for the quality. Everything seemed clean, so other then my sad cuticles it was a good experience. Next is a pedicure!! :)
Decided to try this salon because it's so close to my new home. I hate to say that I will not been returning. The shop equipment seems a little dated and run down. The staff was very friendly but they kept pushing for me to go next door to buy fro yo. Then it happened...the nail tech used his own nail to scrape my gel polish off I had to turn away the entire time because I'm not good at hiding my facial expressions. I could not wait to get out of there! Plus the quality of work was less to be desired. My nails have bubbles, overlap, and the polish is puckered at the tips.
I am from the Atlanta area, so I have been to many nail salons. For the Hiawassee area, I think this nail salon was good. It was very crowded, even though I was there at 2:00 on a Thursday. The workers were very friendly and kept the ball rolling. The prices compared to what I am used to, and I was there for about 45 minutes to get a pedicure. I will go back.
If I lived in Young Harris, I would come here regularly! My girlfriends and I were in town for a friend's wedding and decided to give Dnail a shot with gel manis and pedis. The shop was busy when we walked in (Saturday morning), but the four of us were seated right away and only had to wait a few minutes. We were all really happy with how our nails turned out. They were meticulous with filing, cutting cuticles and placing the polish on evenly and without getting any on our skin. Good color selection too! And, it's always a good sign when a majority of the customers who were there were regulars. Next time I'm in Young Harris, I'll be returning!
