L&N Nails in Cottonwood, AZ

This place is hit or miss. Of the 5 times I've been, I've had 3.5 misses. The last visit told me all that I needed to know! The owner did my nails and complained, initially, that her employee jacked up my nails. I didn't agree and in fact was pleased with the French manner and construction of my nails. However, speaking her first tongue, she informed her husband that she wanted to give me a full new set. I was fine with that until she proceeded to painfully rip the tips and acrylic from my fingers! Ugh!!! After telling her to stop, the result were these weird platypus shaped nails that were SUBSTANTIALLY subpar in comparison to the staff person that she had bashed! When the owner stops caring, find another salon! They seem to cater to the unhinged clientele who speak freely of child abuse and plastic surgery. Heard it with my own ears. Those ladies' nails were perfection. But the final straw for me was hearing the owner say openly that he'll repair nails all day but will get away with whatever he's capable of getting away with. Hope the feds aren't listing in to conversation as such. S/N: He did my nails before. Placed the tips at the very edge of my natural nail that they popped off like press ons within a WEEK! I had to go to another salon to get tips properly applied. Brown people service brown people like crap in this salon.

I'm not the type of girl to go to a nail salon often, but sometimes I like to get a pedicure and relax while I take care of my feet. There are so many places that I would not suggest but this place is somewhere that I have always enjoyed. I've been in the verde valley for most of my life and I've concluded that this salon will be the only salon I allow myself to visit. The family that runs this salon is always so nice and personable. They are quite accommodating and will always treat you like a human instead of just a customer. Not to mention they always have great quality production and I am never disappointed in my nails when they are done. They aren't afraid to tell you their opinion when it comes to crazy requests so you will always be happy with the result and you will always leave feeling relaxed and beautiful. Thank you to L n N Nails for being the best salon for miles, we will see you again soon! I'd post photos but something about taking feet pictures and posting them online makes me feel off haha.

I love going to see Nancy and Leo! They are always accommodating and fun. Their staff is friendly and the atmosphere is a great vibe. I always walk away super happy with my nails, and the designs they agree to do for me!

No frills (family owned?) nail salon. Walking in for services on a Friday afternoon, they were busy but accommodated me with a half an hour wait, and offered that I could chill in their massage chairs for the pedis, cool. They know their locals and seem to have an amicable relationship, with candor. You can make your appointments by phone or walk-in. I paid $140 for mani/pedi, which I thought was a little high but upon googling I suppose it depends on the area you're getting your nails done...the younger man speaks English, but the others do not so when asking a question like if she was doing a dip nail for me or simply having dialogue, I wasn't able to communicate with my nail tech. They didn't have any music playing but eventually played a movie on the TV...seems to be a simple known place where the locals (& those on vacation) may go to get a solid mani/pedi. What you see is what you get!

Leo is always taking good care of me, he always does an exceptional job & pays attention to detail. His foot massages are the best. Def. recommend!
