I went back and had my hair done and the lady didn't put any parts in my hair. I spoke with the manager and she said she would redo them but blew me off for two weeks. She asked for me to come in during the week but I WORK which is why I go there on weekends. She promised Me that she would fix it but didn't. Go here at your own risk.. the knots are so big at the root. It's sad because I really wanted to continue going there but she isn't a person of her word and will take your money. That's why they ask for it up front because it's hard to get your money back. Not to mention she did my daughters hair, which she cried in the seat (she is 23) they pulled her hair so much it you could see the blood patches in her hair. The manager gave $100 off (at least that is what we agreed to I later found out she only took 50 off) but the damage was done. Also while in the salon I used google translate and the lady didn't know and she talked about me something bad. They manager lied and tried saying the lady said something else but I used translate ...very unprofessional and nasty. Not to mention they didn't have the blonde so I paid for the hair to get braided. She should have taken off the cost of the hair. Just bad business all around

The salon cancelled my 3:00 appointment at 3:10. Complete waste of my time. Never coming back.

Worst experience I've ever had at a salon. I told her it was too tight about 10 times she continued to do what she wanted. The faux locs came out HORRIBLE and STIFF. They are so tight I can't even pull them back off my face. The parts are super crooked. To top it off the stylist was over an hour late so I had to sit in the parking lot waiting for them to come open the shop. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Super unprofessional and I asked for a refund and that was not granted.

If you have natural locs in need of maintenance stay away. Do it yourself or go somewhere else. My hair was freshly washed ready for a retwist. She comments I wash very welll only to gunk a bunch of brown jam in my head which afterwards left my hair feeling very unhealthy, thick and overall just a mess. I immediately go home and wash out the mess. After 2 soaks and 2 rinses there is still brown gel coming out of my locs. Not good place to keep hair healthy just to get job done I guess

Friendly but unprofessional. Will never spend my money at this place again. I'm very specific and flexible when it comes to different styles. On two occasions I had appointments for a certain style and the stylist was late or was not in the shop. Last night I settled for an alternative hairstyle because I had to go out of town and wanted my hair braided. The braids were way too tight. The stylist was a novice and had to take several braids down. As she said my hair was too soft. I asked her if it would be better if I rescheduled she said no I can do it and called for some assistance. The person that came or help was nice but very heavy handed. I told her my braids were too tight. She was a bit more gentler but the tension from the other braids caused my scalp to swell really bad. When I got home I text the owner and told her how unhappy I was with my hair. I took my braids down the very same night. I have sores on my head from the tension. My hair is falling out. I am natural type 4c hair. Had braids for over 13 years I'm not tender headed. My stylist Semou Soumare from Indianapolis knows that I am a faithful client and good tipper. I will be flying back to my home town from now on until I can find a new stylist on the east coast. Prices were reasonable. The owner did apologize. I would have asked for my hair to be redone but I'm a little traumatized, still in pain and will chuck it up as a loss.
