Kollage Salon & Boutique in Sacramento, CA

I've been a client of Kristen's for over 20 years. I've stuck with her through it all. Kollage is her own salon labor of passion. Her professionalism of her and her team are unparalleled. I definitely think she is a color genius! I've never been disappointed in my hair results and we have done it all! Short and long, crazy colors styles to grown-up professional color and style. Kollage, Kristen and her entire team are the best!

Kristin has been my hair dresser for many years. I have followed her to multiple locations because it's worth the drive for me. I trust her to make good decisions for my style and hair, and I have never walked out disappointed!!! She and her staff make a difference!

I have been coming to Kristin for about 5 years now and she does a phenomenal job! I get my hair cut and colored and I always feel so pretty after my services! Kristin is super talented and professional. I have Asian hair so I was grateful to find someone who knew how to handle it, do highlights and have them look pretty and fun. She's a master in her craft and she even did the hair for the kings dancers before COVID. Her salon is always clean and her team is really down to earth and talented as well. I know it's hard to find someone who you can trust to make you look fabulous, but if you can get in, be grateful! Haha! She's the best! Also I love that they send me txt reminders for my appointment so I can know what to do, where to go, and what time! Life can get so busy, I really appreciate the txts! Thanks Kollage Salon! I arrived for my appointment on time not realizing there are actually 2 locations 15 minutes apart. I was under the impression that they had moved locations since I had a different address. I texted Kristin upon arrival and was told I was scheduled at the midtown location. I could have easily driven to the midtown location within 15 minutes but she said she had her next appointment within 30 minutes of my scheduled arrival time and could not provide the service because she was too busy and overbooked. I'm not sure how she could do my color and cut while providing another service to a different client only 30 minutes apart. I requested another appointment time slot of the cut and color and was told "we needed to part ways because she couldn't afford to miss out on appointment slots and miss out on money". This would be understandable if I had missed appointments but that had never been the case nor was I ever late. I would have arrived 15 minutes late this time had I not been confused with the 2 locations. Prior to this I had referred a friend of mine that requested a consultant. She told her she "had too many clients" and referred her to someone else in the salon so money does not seem to be a factor. While I do feel she does do a good job with hair I am disappointed with the level of unprofessional. I am also not a fan of having appointment times double booked so closely together when the cost is around $300 including tip. Ultimately I would except a higher level of service and consideration for the amount of money she charges but it is her business not mine.

Love the hairdressers in this salon. I moved from the Bay Area and was looking for a colorist/ hair stylist and found Kristin and Alissa ! They were very good at coloring and styling my hair. Very happy and will continue to see them and recommend them to friends !
