KNails & Wax in Marshall, MN

I'm so disappointed that Kathy n Kevin no longer own this salon. It is not the same quality. Kathy n Kevin own K nail in Willmar. I will for sure try to see them in Willmar.

I have came to K Nails a few times and have been disappointed almost every time I walk out. I had an appointment for an acrylic nail removal and gel manicure at 1:30. I arrived at 1:20 and did not get helped until 2:00, however two people were helped before me, one who had been helped before me didn't have an appointment until 2:00 and got her nails started before mine. The next person didn't even have an appointment and still was helped before me. Since I was only supposed to have acrylic nail removal and gel manicure, I would have figured they could have at least started putting the foils and acetone on my nails while I was waiting but even then they did not start taking my nails off until 2:00 and when my acrylics got removed finally, they forgot I had a gel manicure and when I reminded them they showed visible annoyance and my manicure was very rushed. Quick bottom coat, gel polish, top coat and sent me on my way. I understand being busy but they should not have overbooked themselves and allowed walk in if they were going to be so overworked and not help the people who had appointments until 40 minutes later.

Squeezed me in right away as a walk in but used dirty files and nail clippers on me..

Called ahead for a eyebrow wax and normally I have Kathy or Lisa wax them for me however today that was not the case even after I asked multiple times for someone else. So Ashley lead me back and I showed her a picture of how they are done normally. Then she got to waxing. When she was done she pulled out the mirror and handed it to me. I looked at my eyebrows in disbelief. I had little to zero hair left over. I know both eyebrows never and will never look the same but they looked completely different along with being very patchy, very thin and no shape whatsoever. I now have to basically paint eyebrows on and have no experience with filling eyebrows in. Just a fair warning if you want semi decent eyebrows do not book with Ashley. Perhaps though if you are looking to wax away your eyebrows I highly recommend Ashley. I am very dissatisfied and extremely upset.

Came here for the first time and will be the last time. Very rude staff! The person that did my acrylic set was ok but VERY rough on my fingers and wrist and told me that I could not pick bright colors.....My fingers STILL hurt like they've been slammed in a door many times. Nails were very uneven. I asked for flat square nails and he gave me oval square nails. Very bubbly texture. Definitely would NOT recommend this place!!!!
